    I. euchte, insbesondere Schiffsarmatur
 EMI1.1

B. flache Stromschienen, Verwendung finden.

however, it can advantageously be provided beforehand with a heat-insulating protective layer or the like.

Two or four conductors are expediently conductively connected to the contacts of the socket on one side of the base, so that the lamp receives current when two line ends are connected to the associated connection terminals. As a result of the embedded conductors, it does not matter from which socket the lines are inserted.

In order to simplify the assembly of the lamp and in particular to facilitate the connection of the lines to the base contact terminals, according to a further proposal of the invention, the socket can be easily detachably attached in the base and its contacts are in conductive contact with the connection terminals, for example by on the one hand with the Connection terminals connected and on the other hand resting against contacts arranged on the base of the socket contact tongues. It is advisable to accommodate the connection terminals and, if applicable, the tongues connected to them in channels separated from one another by upright walls of the base, so that the terminals are mutually isolated.

The socket itself is advantageously set off in a stepped manner at its rear end and, sitting on the upper edge of the duct partition walls, is easily detachably fastened by one or more screws. In order to achieve a low
To keep the structural height of the partition walls as low as possible, the longitudinal axis of the mount can, according to the invention, run inclined to the base surface. In this way, despite the arrangement of connection terminals on both sides, sufficient space is created for the glass bulb of the light bulb. In addition, the replacement of the
The inclined position makes the light bulb considerably easier. The inclination of the mount can be achieved with the simplest of means, in that the mount sits with its base part expediently offset parallel to its longitudinal axis on the advantageously inclined upper edges of the partition walls.

The frame itself serves as a
Contact protection for the connection terminals of the
Base. This contact protection of the terminals can be on the side facing away from the socket

by a simple cover plate. The fastening screw of the socket, on the other hand, is expediently arranged in such a way that it is perpendicular to the base surface, that is to say inclined to the socket axis. This makes fastening the socket much easier.

According to the invention, the nut threads provided in the base for the clamping screws of the connection terminals are pressed into projections on the base rear wall side, which in turn serve in a known manner to support the base on the ceiling or wall.

According to the invention, the embedding of the conductors can be done in such a way that the conductors to be embedded are first connected at both ends with a sleeve each with a female thread, then the sleeves are placed on pins of the compression mold and finally the conductors and sleeves are pressed around with insulating compression material. It is advisable not to press the luminaire base with the trough opening at the top, as before, but rather with the bottom at the top.

The subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing. 1 shows a ship's armature in a view from the underside with the bell jar removed, FIG. 2 a view corresponding to FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale with the socket additionally removed, FIG. 3 a partial longitudinal section along the line III-III of FIG 2, 4 show a cross section through the lamp along line IV-IV in FIG. 1, FIG. 5 shows a corresponding cross section along line VV in FIG. 2, and FIG. 6 shows a simplified representation of the pressing-in process of the conductors in FIG the base material.

The flat, shell-shaped base 1 of the ship's armature has, in a manner known per se, two inlet nozzles 2, 3, arranged on the narrow sides, for the lines, each of which is provided with a gland screw connection 4. Furthermore, molded eyes 5, 6 are provided on the base 1, which are partly provided with holes 7 for fastening screws for the base, partly with threaded holes 8 for attaching a protective cage (not shown) for the bell jar (also not shown). A socket 9 is provided in the base recess, into which the light bulb 10 can be screwed.

Inside the recess in the base, just behind the
Inlet nozzles 2, 3 and lying at the same height as these, four connection terminals 11-14, 11'-14 'are provided, which are connected in pairs to each other by one embedded in the base, i.e. H. pressed wire 15 are connected to each other. The conductor wires 15 are completely made of the insulating material of the
Surrounding base 1 and completely isolated from each other and to the outside. Furthermore, the conductors are attached with a before pressing

Firing varnish, enamel and other ceramic masses or similar suitable substances exist.

The connection terminals 11-14, which are arranged in pairs offset from one another for the purpose of close arrangement and large creepage distances, lie in channels or slots 16, which in turn are formed by upright walls 17 of the base base and separated from one another. A further wall 18 which is arranged towards the inside of the base closes off the channels 16 towards the inside of the base.

While the partition walls 17, 18 are kept low on one side of the base (on the right in the figure) and their surfaces are parallel to the base of the base, the partition walls 17, 18 on the opposite side of the base are held higher and are inclined towards the base surface. Two of the connection terminals 11, 13, which are at a distance from the socket contacts, are provided with Z-shaped tongues 19, one leg 19 'of which is held on the bottom of the associated channel 16 by the clamping screw of the connection terminal, while the central web 19 is on the rear partition 18 is guided up against it, so that the second free leg 19 ″ of the contact tongue 19 rests on the surface of the partition 18.

The holder 9 is offset at its rear end 9 'parallel to its longitudinal axis and sits with this offset part on the inclined upper edges of the walls 17, 18. As a result, the longitudinal axis of the frame runs inclined towards the base surface, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 3. On the base of the socket contact blocks 20 are provided which are connected to the internal contacts of the socket and which, when the socket is placed on the partition walls 17, 18, rest against the free legs 19 ″ of the contact tongues 19. One perpendicular to the
Base area, d. H. Head screw 21 running at an incline to the longitudinal axis of the frame is used for the detachable fastening of the frame. From the-

According to the invention, a simple method for embedding the ladder 15 in the base 1 consists in first providing the ladder 15 at both ends with a threaded bushing 25, placing this bushing on projections 27 (FIG. 6) of the compression mold 28 with the ladder held taut then to press the pressed material around the ladder, the arrangement being expediently made so that the base bottom is on top.

The ship's armature is attached in such a way that the base I is first attached to the ceiling or wall and then the line ends are inserted through the nozzles 2, 3.

Depending on the circuit to be carried out, the line ends are then connected to two, three or four of the connection terminals 11-14 of the base, u. between through-going, series or two-way switching on both sides of the base.

In the case of simple end lamps, it is sufficient to connect one side to the two terminals 11, 13, which carry the contact tongues 19 for the socket on the socket side of the base. After connecting the lines, the socket 9 is put on, which is switched on by touching its ground contacts 20 with the tongues 19 in the circuit. The terminals 11'-14 'on the other side are covered by the cover plate or cap 23 and thus secured against contact. Then the light bulb 10 is screwed in, the glass bell is put on and the protective cage holding it is applied. As can be easily seen, the new luminaire with the embedded conductors and the terminals arranged in the base base is particularly easy to connect with a large number of possible connections
Circuits off.

The new lamp also replaces a special one in certain circuits due to the four embedded conductors
Junction box. The attachment of the socket after the actual connection of the cable ends is perceived as particularly pleasant when the lamp is used as a ceiling lamp, since this new lamp attachment is also uncomfortable
Postures can be made easily and effortlessly.

As already mentioned, the embodiment shown is only an example of the implementation of the invention and it is not restricted to it; on the contrary, many other embodiments and applications are possible. If desired, the lamp could also be a different one
