 Band, dessen Endteile 5 gegeneinander um 180   abgebogen werden (Fig. 3), so dass sie parallel zum Mittelteil 4 des Bandes verlaufen (Fig. 4). 



  Die Gesamtlänge der beiden Endteile 5 des Bandes ist der Länge des Mittelteiles 4 gleichgehalten. Nach dem Einlegen der Borsten 3 zwischen die Bandteile 4 und 5 wird der so gebildete Doppelstreifen der Länge nach gefaltet. 



  Neben der äusserst einfachen Herstellungsweise besitzt diese Fassung auch den Vorzug, dass sie an den Enden durch die abgebogenen Endteile 5 abgeschlossen ist und dadurch auch die Borsten an den Enden des Bürstenelementes gegen seitliches Herausrutschen gesichert sind. 



   Die Klemmung der Borstenbüschel 3 in ihrer Fassung kann durch an den zusammengefalteten Streifen angebrachte Einpressungen noch verstärkt werden. Derartige, beispielsweise beulenartige Einpressungen sind auch geeignet, den Sitz der Bürstenelemente in den Nuten 2 des Bürstenkörpers 1 strammer zu gestalten. 



   Zur Herstellung der Fassung eignet sich ein Band aus Eisen-, Messing-, oder Leichtmetallblech. Durch Klebemittel kann die Haftung der Borsten in ihrer Fassung noch verstärkt werden.

  The total length of the two end parts 5 of the band is kept the same as the length of the middle part 4. After the bristles 3 have been inserted between the band parts 4 and 5, the double strip thus formed is folded lengthways.



  In addition to the extremely simple method of manufacture, this version also has the advantage that it is closed at the ends by the bent end parts 5 and thereby the bristles at the ends of the brush element are also secured against slipping out sideways.



   The clamping of the tufts of bristles 3 in their mount can be reinforced by impressions made on the folded strips. Such indentations, for example bump-like, are also suitable for making the seat of the brush elements in the grooves 2 of the brush body 1 tighter.



   A band made of iron, brass or light metal sheet is suitable for making the socket. The adhesion of the bristles in their mount can be further strengthened by adhesive.
