Elektrische Zünd- und Löschvorrichtung für Gasbrenner.
EMI1.1
Schaltklinke ein Kreuzweg-Brennerhahn bei jedesmaligem Stromschlnsse um eine Achteldrehung fortgeschaltet und gleichzeitig die elektrische Funkenzündvorrichtung betätigt wird, wie dies beispielsweise in der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 71 30, sowie in den schweizerischen Patentschriften Nr. 8777 und 7449 beschrieben ist ;

Austrian PATENT LETTERING? 17090.
OTTO GERGACSEVICS IN VIENNA.
Electric ignition and extinguishing device for gas burners.
EMI1.1
A pawl a cross-way torch valve is advanced by an eighth of a turn each time the power is closed and the electrical spark ignition device is operated at the same time, as is described, for example, in German patent specification No. 71 30 and in Swiss patent specification No. 8777 and 7449;
In the present device, however, on the armature which actuates the cross-way cock and the spark ignition device in a known manner, in addition to the resilient pawl for the cross-way cock, a gate engaging with a crank arm on the cock of the cock located in the ignition flame line is rotatably attached, by means of which every time a power switch! usse, respectively. each time the power is interrupted, the ignition flame line is opened or closed simultaneously with the actuation of the cross-way cock and the spark ignition device. is closed.
The arrangement of the gate, in the slot of which the crank arm engages on the faucet of the Zündnammpn- line, ensures that this faucet is closed only when the current is completely interrupted, while the small, extremely rapid succession of the small, extremely rapid succession of the spark current for the ignition subsequent power interruptions and the ensuing vibration of the armature does not affect the ignition cable tap. If the current is closed, the link swinging upwards with the armature opens the ignition line valve by means of its crank.
In the drawing, a remote detonator according to the present invention is shown, u. Fig. 1 shows a view, partly in section, and Figs. 2 and 3 show details.
The remote detonator is screwed onto the muzzle of the low-loader by means of the pipe socket 1. A base plate 2, which carries the bearing 3 for the armature 4 of a pair of electromagnets 6, 7 fastened to the cover plate 5, is pushed onto the pipe socket.
In addition, an adjusting screw 8 is screwed into the base plate, through which
EMI1.2
both cover plates. 2 and 5 tapering part of the pipe socket J! a cock 9 with holes crossed at right angles is used, the conical vortex 10 of which is retained in its seat by a spring 11 acting on the wider end. A ratchet wheel 12 provided with eight teeth is attached to the protruding thinner end of the vertebra 10. At the level of the axis of the cross-way cock branches off a narrow line 75 for the ignition
EMI1.3
the same way as the cross-way cock 9 is pressed into its seat by means of a spring and carries a crank arm 15 at the thin end.
The line 13 is bent upwards at a right angle, penetrates the cover plate 5 and ends above the mouth of the burner, which is screwed onto the threaded connection 16. Immediately next to the line 13 is a metal tube j in the cover plate 5! 7 screwed in or otherwise fastened, inside which the contact pin M of the tube:! 7 is insulated, arranged displaceably and is always pressed downwards by an adjustable spring 19 at its lower end.
At the upper end of the tube 17, the isolation looseness 20 has a lateral slot 21 in which the hook-shaped, downwardly curved upper end 22 of the pin 18 plays.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
EMI2.1
hook-shaped upwardly curved contact piece 23 is attached. As a result of the action of the adjustable spring 19, the two hook-shaped parts 22 and 28 are now pressed against one another in their rest position with their contact surfaces covered with platinum, whereby an intimate contact is established. A clamping screw 24 to which the lead wire is connected is fastened on the cover plate, but isolated from it.
One end of the winding wire of the pair of electromagnets is connected to the clamping screw 24 and the other end to the spring 19, so that when the circuit is closed, the current through the pipeline into the housing, into the tube 17, through the contacts 23, 22 into the Contact pin 18, through whose spring 19 it passes into the winding of the electromagnet and from there finally through the clamping screw 24 back to the power source.
A resilient pawl 26, which engages in the ratchet wheel 12 of the cross-way valve 10, is articulated on the armature 4. In a swinging backdrop 26 am
Armature 4 engages the end of the crank arm 15 on the cock 14 of the ignition line 13. Below the lower end of the contact pin 18, an adjusting screw 28, which is covered with an insulating layer 27 at the upper end, is screwed into the armature 4, the lower end of which is in the
Rest position on the adjusting screw 8 in the base plate 2 rests. Any suitable pushbutton is now switched on in the current discharge, by means of which the circuit is closed.
If this happens, the pair of electromagnets is excited and attracts the armature 4; As a result of this, the ratchet wheel 12 is advanced by one tooth by means of the pawl 25 and the handle 10 is opened, while at the same time the cock 14 is opened by means of the crank 15 by the oscillating link 26, so that the gas is passed through both the
Burner as well as through the tube 13 can flow out. But now the beats
Adjusting screw 28 with its insulation layer 27 against the lower end of the contact pin 18, lifts the same a little, whereby the contacts 22 and 23 are separated from one another and an opening spark is created between them.
At the same moment, subsequent
Interruption of the circuit, the electromagnets non-magnetic and the armature tends to fall off due to its own weight; the contact pin 18 is pulled downwards again by the spring 19, the current is recently closed and the armature. 4 tightened again. This process continues in quick succession as long as the circuit remains closed.
Once the ignition has taken place, the circuit is interrupted, all parts return to their rest position and the luminous lamp continues to burn, while the ignition flame is extinguished by turning the tap 14 back. If the burning luminous flame is now to be extinguished, when the circuit is closed again, the ratchet wheel 9 is advanced by one tooth by the pawl 2.5, so that the cock 10 makes an eighth of a rotation and is closed.
The fact that the tap 14 is also opened here is irrelevant, since the main tap 10 is closed and when the circuit is interrupted after the luminous flame has gone out, the tap 14 is closed again.
The adjusting screws 8 and 28 are to be set in such a way that the armature 4 only vibrates just enough when the circuit is closed that the contacts 22 and 23 are only slightly separated from one another. To render the remanent magnetism harmless, either the pole faces of the. Cover magnets or the surface of the anchor accordingly.
