Drinking vessel.
The present invention aims to create a device on drinking vessels through which predominantly the defects of tarnishing and thereby Benetxons of the fingers when the contents are cold, respectively. the burning of fingers with hot contents corrected, furthermore the insulation against heat loss with hot, resp. against the influx of heat when the contents are cold, as well as greater resistance of the vessel itself and better protection of the contents.
This is achieved in that, starting from the upper edge of the vessel, an outer wall is formed which completely or largely envelops the vessel, but in such a way that an insulating layer of air remains between this outer wall and the vessel, which prevents unfavorable stresses due to temperature fluctuations in the air layer to avoid itself and in the vessel material with which the outside air is in contact.
The illustration below is used, which shows, as examples of the most varied forms, the sketches of the vertical sections of a drinking glass and a cup, which are designed according to the present invention; the outer wall can usually be made from one piece with the vessel and from the same material, but also from different materials and attached to the upper edge of the vessel.
