Schornsteinaufsatz.

Chimney top.
The subject of the present invention is a further embodiment of the chimney attachment on which patent no. 17352 is based and is characterized by the fact that the spindle is composed of two or more mutually displaceable parts, which means that the bearing sleeve is completely filled with grease and the spindle can be removed can be done more conveniently.
As can be seen, a tube b is attached in the Haubcnkappo g, which at its lower end with the guide rings indicated in patent no. 17352 m or with a

The actual support spindle i is inserted into the interior of the tube b; it can be supported at the top against the blunt or pointed end of a screw c seated in b or it can be pointed at its upper end bexw. be provided with a pin and engage in a recess of the screw c. Whether the spindle! t turns or does not rotate in the sleeve b, is irrelevant for the effect of the top bearing.
Appropriately, one can also provide the tube b at its lower end with an inwardly directed ring shoulder or, as can be seen from the drawing, with indentations d, which guides the spindle in the central axis and thereby prevents the hood from tipping in the bearing.
If such a top bearing is to be filled with grease and assembled, one removes the screw c, fills the bearing sleeve h with grease and then pushes the hood over the latter so that the tube t lUit the ring m enters the interior of the sleeve, which Compresses fat in the same and displaces the same part into the interior of the tube b. If the grease has already filled tube b, push the
