Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Verschluss für die Reinigungsöffnung von Weinfässern, welcher gegenüber den bisher bekannten die Vorteile aufweist, dass derselbe einerseits eine bessere und dauerhafte Abdichtung des Fasses gestattet und andererseits, dass bei demselben die Möglichkeit einer Berührung seiner Eisenteile mit dem Wein und somit das Schwarzwerden des letzteren vollkommen ausgeschlossen ist.

Diese schmale Dichtungsfläche machte daber das Einlegen von Dichtungsmaterial in die Nut des Fasses erforderlich, nachdem vorher der L'bestand auftrat, dass sie infolge des sich absetzenden Sandes und Weinsteines sehr bald verunreinigt wurde und nicht mehr genügend dicht hielt. Zur Vermeidung einer Dichtungseinlage ist das Türchen 1 von überall gleichmässiger Dicke und an der mit der inneren Längswand des Fasses in Berührung kommenden Seiten- Hache 2 ehenso wie an den übrigen konisch abgeschrägt. Mit dieser abgeschrägten Seiten- Hache 2 wird das Türchen gegen die glatte Innenwand des Fasses angepresst, wodurch das einlegen des Dichtungsmateriales überflüssig wird.
Um ferner an allen Stellen der Seiten- flächen des Torchons beim Anziehen desselben mittels Schraube oder Keiles einen gleichmässigen Druck und eine gleichmässige Abdichtung zu erzielen, ist das Türchen von ellipsenähnlicher, jedoch fast kreisförmiger Gestalt.

In Fig. 4 und 5 sind zwei andere Ausführungsformen des Türchens dargestellt, bei welchen das Anpressen desselben gegen die Fassöffnung durch einen Holzkeil bewirkt wird, welcher durch einen am Türchen befestigten Bügel hindurchgesteckt wird. Dieser Bügel 5 ist nun bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 4 an seinen beiden Enden rechtwinklig umgebogen und wie obenerwähnte Schraube in Vertiefungen 4 der Aussenseite des Türchens mittels Bleieingusses befestigt.

The subject of the present invention is a closure for the cleaning opening of wine barrels, which has the advantages over the previously known ones that on the one hand it allows a better and permanent sealing of the barrel and on the other hand that with the same the possibility of its iron parts coming into contact with the wine and thus the latter cannot turn black.
In the two previously known closures for wine barrels, the elongated door with its sharpened narrow side was pushed into a groove made on the inner longitudinal wall of the barrel. However, this narrow sealing surface made it necessary to insert sealing material into the groove of the barrel, after the stock had previously appeared that it was very soon contaminated as a result of the settling sand and tartar and no longer held sufficiently tight. In order to avoid a sealing insert, the door 1 is of uniform thickness everywhere and on the side surface 2 that comes into contact with the inner longitudinal wall of the barrel as well as on the other bevelled conically. With this beveled side cover 2, the door is pressed against the smooth inner wall of the barrel, so that the insertion of the sealing material is superfluous.
