 EMI1.1
gefässos a angebracht.

Drain cock for milk skimming vessels.

The subject of the present invention is a drain cock for milk skimming vessels, which allows the milk to be skimmed to be drained of the milk quantity to be skimmed, depending on the requirements, without having to fear a disruption in the skimming process.

This drain cock is shown in the drawing, namely: FIG. 1 shows a milk skimming vessel with such a drain cock in section, FIG. 2 shows the drain cock, drawn out larger, in section, FIG. 3 the same in side view and FIG Cross-section.
 EMI1.1
vessel a attached. It consists of a conical tap housing b, in which the Hahnkogel c, open at the bottom, rotates. The latter ends up with any handle d and is provided with a longitudinal slot e on the side.

The width of this longitudinal slot corresponds to the width of (here three) groups f, g, 11th of holes located in the casing of the tap housing at different heights.

Each group consists of one, two or more (here of two) parallel rows of holes of the same size, lying along the generatrix, which are offset from the rows of the lower group on the circumference of the housing and whose holes are larger than those of the next deeper are, according to the increasing consistency of the milk.

The setting of the cone when draining milk is now based on the intention to drain more or less fat-rich milk. If the fattest milk is to be drained, then the cone is rotated until the slot of the same with the top group respectively. is brought into agreement with the top rows of holes, in the case of less fat with the one below, etc. The groups can also be so little offset next to each other that each row of one group and the row lying next to the group immediately below or above within the slot close can lie, whereby the fat content to be achieved in the drained milk can be varied.

**WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**. PATENT CLAIM: Drain cock for milk skimming vessels, characterized in that the tap housing (b), which extends with its lower end through the bottom of the vessel, has groups (f, g, lt) of parallel longitudinal rows of holes that are offset from one another at the circumference along the generatrix and are at different heights of each group are the same size as each other, but larger than those of the next lower group, so that depending on the coverage of the longitudinal slot provided in the tap cone (c) with a higher or lower Located group of holes, more or less high-fat milk can be drained from the vessel from the amount of milk to be skimmed at will. ** WARNING ** End of CLMS field may overlap beginning of DESC **.
