Extendable emptying spout for containers
The invention relates to a pull-out emptying spout for containers, which is guided in a ring arranged concentrically to an opening in the container bottom and is equipped with a piston slide which is under spring action and sealingly covers the outlet opening of the spout until it is completely pulled out, the spout is provided at its outer end with a two-part head disk, which between its disk segments, one of which is pointedly protruding, receives a toggle connected to the piston valve, the ends of which protrude beyond the outline of the head disk, according to patent no. 196731.
In the arrangement according to the parent patent, the emptying spout is pulled out by gripping the top disk. It happens that, under the influence of certain filling goods, the emptying spout is very difficult to pull out and the required force cannot be exerted by gripping the top disk. The invention aims to remedy this drawback.
The basic idea of the invention is to provide the emptying spout with a foldable pulling bracket, on which it can be pulled out in a simple manner. However, the arrangement of tension bars is known for emptying nozzles. For example, Austrian patent specification no.
46180 an emptying spout which is provided with a ring which, when the spout is pushed in, is hidden in the cup-shaped guide that receives it. The known embodiment has the disadvantage that the ring for pulling out the grommet can only be grasped with the aid of a tool. According to the French In patent specification No. 1,102,382, the bracket is attached directly to an extendable pouring spout, the bracket ends penetrating bores in the wall of the manifold, so that contamination of the bracket by the outflowing material is inevitable.
In the case of the emptying spout according to the parent patent, the attachment of the tension bracket is made more difficult by the peculiar shape of the split head disk of the spout, part of which protrudes to a point, and by the toggle for the piston valve, since its ends protrude beyond the outline of the head disk. According to the invention, the problem is solved in that the pull-out spout has a pull yoke which is pivotably mounted on the head disk and whose pivot axis, determined by the opposing bearing ends, is arranged at an angle of about 30 to the slot dividing the head disk and receiving the toggle in the rest position.
The peculiarity of the design of the emptying spout and its guiding and holding device according to the parent patent makes it possible for the foldable pull-out bracket according to the invention to be folded in the rest position within the cup-shaped cavity in the holding ring without appearing in any way disturbing, and that it can nevertheless be easily grasped can.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 illustrates a longitudinal section through the retractable emptying spout in the inserted and closed state, Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the spout in the state of the container being emptied, Fig. 3 is a front view with the flanged securing cap being broken open in the area of the spout head disk .
The tubular spout 1 with the outlet opening 2 and the piston 3 acting as a piston slide has the two-part head disk 6, 6 a, which is supplemented by the toggle 8 for actuating the piston 3.
In the head disk <! a tension bracket 4 is attached so that it can be pivoted and folded over so that it can be accommodated in the cup-shaped cavity of the support and retaining ring 5.
According to the invention, with reference to the slot 10 in the divided head disk of the emptying spout, the pull-out bow 4 is attached to the head disk with its oppositely directed bent engagement ends 7, 7 in a corresponding angular position so that the toggle 8 protruding beyond the head disk 6, 6 a remains unaffected when pivoting the bracket. In the rest and closed position, the tension bow 4 cannot be accessed from the outside by the safety cap 9.
