Motorisch angetriebene Hand-Sto1l'schneidmaschine
EMI1.1

Motor-driven hand stump cutting machine
EMI1.1
The lower part of the gear housing 2 is equipped with a support piece 2 ′ for receiving a support plate 8 carrying the stand 3, 4.
The stand foot 4 is firmly connected to this plate 8 via a support 3 designed as a knife guide. The support plate 8 is slidably supported in the support piece 2 'of the gear housing 2 between the two parallel guide surfaces S' of the dovetail guide. The insertion depth of the support plate 8 into the support piece 2 'of the gear housing 2 is limited by a stop in the form of a groove 17 in one part and a pin 18 engaging in this groove in the other part (FIG. 2).
One of the guide surfaces 8 'of the dovetail guide is formed by a side surface of a detachable guide and tensioning strip 20, which is held by a tensioning screw 19 that passes through the strip 20 and is screwed into the support piece 2', so that by tightening this screw the strip 20 can be pressed with the surface 8 'against the plate 8 and the latter can be clamped. The axis of the clamping screw is arranged parallel to the plane of the support plate and perpendicular to the dovetail guide.
The drawing shows an arrangement in which only one clamping screw 19 is provided; but there might as well be two screws. The detachable guide bar 20 is provided on its support side facing the support plate 8 with a substantially V-shaped channel, one side surface of which forms the one guide surface 8 'which, in the tensioned position of the bar 20, rests against one of the guide surfaces of the support plate 8, while the the other side surface of the channel at the same time rests against an analogous surface on the support piece 2 'of the gear housing 2. As a result, the bar 20 is given the counter-hold required for tightening the support plate 8.
The need to be able to easily remove the stand from the machine and reattach it, exists in order to be able to cut out not only outer contours but also inner, closed openings from stacks of material, for which purpose the stand must be removed.
