Locking kit for letterpress forms.
Locking tools for letterpress forms are known in which the displaceable locking jaw is moved by a non-displaceable plate which is turned by means of a key and in whose spiral groove the threads of the locking jaw engage. So far, the plate is guided in threads that are fastened in the housing.
However, this gives it an abutment that is too weak, which is only
EMI1.1
The present invention consists in that the plate provided with a spiral groove protrudes with an extension carrying the keyhole through an opening in the housing wall and is guided along its edge. As a result, the pressure from the drive plate is transmitted directly to the strong housing wall, so that the locking device can be used to exert considerable pressure.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 illustrates the Schliessxeug in view, Fig. 2 the same

FiA '. 2, FIG. 4 the horizontal and FIG. 5 the vertically cut locking device.
A recess is provided in the housing a, in which the closing jaw c moves. The latter is provided with the pressure plate d and receives the round plate 9 in a recess e. The plate 9 is provided in a known manner with a spiral groove f into which the threads of an insert k of the closing jaw engage. The insert k is fastened by a screw l in the recess e of the closing jaw c. The rotation of the plate y is effected by the key i.
According to the innovation, the plate 9 is provided with an extension x which reaches through a closely adjoining opening y of the housing a and is provided with the keyhole h. The extension x transmits the pressure of the plate 9 directly to the enclosing housing wall, which serves as an abutment.
