  Kartoffelsortiermaschine

  Potato sorting machine
The invention relates to a potato sorting machine with two sieve boxes arranged one above the other, which are inclined at an angle of about 5 to 100 to the horizontal and are moved horizontally in opposite directions, and an inclined surface arranged below the lower sieve box transversely to the direction of movement of the sieve boxes. Potato sorting machines that have such an inclined surface are already known. In these known potato sorting machines, the inclined surface is used to remove the dirt and the smallest potatoes from the machine. This has the disadvantage that the smallest potatoes are lost.

The invention is based on the object of creating a potato sorting machine of the type described above, in which even the smallest potatoes are sorted out and properly freed from dirt and removed from the machine separately from dirt in a simple manner. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the lower sieve box is closed at the bottom by a grate running in its direction of movement, which stops the smallest potatoes, but releases the dirt if it falls onto the inclined surface and enters the lower end of the grate a box lying transversely to the direction of movement of the sieve box is provided, the bottom of which is lower than the lower end of the grate,

the bottom sloping down towards the same side of the machine as the sloping surface and serving to guide the smallest potatoes out of the machine.
 EMI1.1
There is no need to provide a Rostescher space in the machine to accommodate the grate. The purpose of this grate is to hold back the smallest potatoes, but let the dirt through. In addition, the grate has the advantage over a sieve that the smallest potatoes, which are much lighter than the large potatoes, roll more easily on a grate than on a sieve, because the smallest potatoes can be held in the mesh of a sieve.

The smallest potatoes fall from the grate onto the sloping bottom of the box at the lower end of the grate. When it falls down onto the sloping bottom of the box, which in a further embodiment of the invention is also designed as a grate and thereby enables the smallest potatoes to roll easily, the remaining dirt and dust is removed from these smallest potatoes. Because this box bottom, which is designed as a grate, slopes down in the same direction as the inclined surface, the removal of dust and dirt from the machine on the inclined surface is significantly supported and. facilitated. In addition, the box with its bottom designed as a grate is used to bring out the smallest potatoes.

An Aussthrungsbeispiel the invention is shown in the drawings. 1 shows a side view of a machine according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a view of the machine from the right according to FIG. 1 and FIG. A shows a view of the machine from the left according to FIG.
The machine according to the invention has a frame consisting of six vertical supports 1-3, which are connected to one another at the top by an inclined beam 4 and at the bottom by a horizontal beam 5, the two lower horizontal beams 5 in turn via two Crossbars 6 and 1 are connected to one another. A dashed line in Fig. 1 and fastened to both vertical supports 3 board 8 increases the strength of the machine frame.

The machine frame 1-8 is preferably made of wood.

Sieves 9 and 10 are arranged in box-shaped frames 11 and 12 for sorting the potatoes.

The upper sieve 9 is wide-meshed, the lower sieve 10 more closely meshed.

Frame 11 the inclined box 23 and the transverse board 22 arranged grate 25, the bars of which run in the longitudinal direction of the box-shaped frame 12, forms the bottom of the box-shaped frame 12. In continuation of the lower sieve 10 is a transverse board 26 between the side walls 20, 21. The sieve 10 lies on the one hand on an approximately vertical transverse board 27 and 27 connecting the two side walls 20, 21

and box-shaped frames 11 and 12 and can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.

In order to store the box-shaped frames 11 and 12 in the machine frame 1-8 are attached to them

Bearing tools bores of metal plates 32 pressed in, which are attached to the. Supports 1, 2 and 3: are screwed on. The bolts 31 are preferably made of steel. The bearing blocks 29 can consist of any bearing metal, for example bronze. They are preferably made from wood soaked with oil, e.g. hardwood,
 EMI2.4

Of course, the bolts 31 can also be arranged on the box-shaped frames 11 and 12 and the bearing blocks 29 on the machine frame 1, 2, 3.

The bearing blocks 29 can also consist of non-saturated wood, preferably hardwood, and bushes can be arranged in or on them, into which the bolts 31 engage. The known sintered bearings made of bronze or steel can be used as bushings.

The two box-shaped frames 11 and 12 are in the same direction at an angle of about 5 bi. s 100 inclined to the horizontal. To move the box-shaped frames 1 and 12 back and forth on the bolts 31, the crankshaft 33 is used, which is supported by means of ball or sliding bearings in bearing blocks 34 attached to the machine frame 1-8. Bumpers 35 and 36, preferably made of hardwood, are fixed at one end to the box-shaped frames 11 and 12 and are articulated to the two cranks 37 and 38 of the crankshaft 38.

The bumper 35 is not attached directly to the box-shaped frame 11, but stands above a frame consisting of two approximately vertical boards 39 and 40, which are screwed to the side walls 13 and 14, and a frame consisting of a transverse board 41 with the upper box-shaped frame 11 Connection, the crankshaft 33 is driven either by an electric motor 42 or by hand by means of a hand crank 43. For this purpose there is a large pulley 44 on one end of the crankshaft 33 and on the one end. e small pulley 45 attached. A bearing block 46, in which a belt pulley 47 is rotatably mounted, is attached to the one vertical support 2 (FIG. 1). The hand crank 43 is rigidly connected to the belt pulley 47.

By means of the belt drives 48 and 49, which are preferably V-belt drives, the electric motor 42 and the hand crank 43 are in drive connection with the crankshaft 33.

Below the discharge end of the upper sieve 9 is a collecting box 50 for the large potatoes. Detachably attached to the machine frame by means of two lateral bolts 51 or hooks or the like. In Fig. 3, the bolts 51 are not shown. The collecting box 50 consists of two lateral vertical boards 52 and 53 which are connected to one another by the bottom board 54.

Below the discharge end of the lower screen 10, a box is attached to the machine frame, which consists of two vertical boards 55 and 56 and two inclined boards 57 and 58, which form two inclined planes.

Below the lower box-shaped frame 12 is an inclined surface on the machine frame, before. -
