Electric hotplate with switchover plug connection set
EMI1.1
remaining pins connected. Such electric hotplates are already known (see German Patent No. 817482). In this case, the connection set consists of a two-pin plug and connection cable. There is the possibility of realizing three heating levels. The fourth heating stage, which would result from the use of two heating resistors, cannot be switched on with the known device. The invention has now set itself the task of eliminating this disadvantage and improving a device of the specified type in such a way that all four heating stages can be switched on, so that more finely-staged regulation of the heating is possible.
According to the invention, this goal is achieved in that the connection pin common to the two radiators is combined with one of the two connection pins connected to the second heating element to form a plug connection and the two remaining connection pins are combined to form a second plug connection, and the connection set consists of a connection plug that can optionally be plugged into the two connections with a cable and an optional plug-in connector with an actuatable short-circuit switch.
It is probably from the French. Patent specification No. 971.506 a hotplate with connection set is known in which all four switching stages are implemented, but this known solution has the disadvantage that a four-pole socket with special wiring and a three-pole plug with a three-wire cable is required. In contrast, the device according to the present invention offers the advantage that it can be connected to any normal socket and therefore does not require any special installation. In addition, a normal, two-wire connection cable with a conventional plug is used.

In FIG. 2, the switch of the connector is closed and the resistor R is bridged.
The resistor R 1 is therefore switched on alone.
In the switching position according to FIG. 3, the two elements are the connection. Against each other

are connected in parallel. In the position shown in FIG. 4, the switch of the connector is open. Only the resistor R is in this operating state in the circuit.
