Isolierendes Bauelement

Insulating component
Structural elements in the form of permanent formwork for creating outer walls usually consist of insulating, non-load-bearing materials (based on wood wool or the like), with internal cavities that are used to hold filler concrete, which then forms the actual load-bearing core of the wall.
Due to the low strength and water or. Such insulation materials are sensitive to weathering, together with the fact that the load-bearing cross-section of the wall is usually greatly reduced by the non-load-bearing material of the permanent formwork, however, this solution is not an ideal case.
In contrast to this, the present invention is an insulating construction element made of concrete, which is characterized in that insulating foam sheets are arranged on one or both longitudinal walls of a box-shaped hollow body forming a permanent formwork, while the inner cavity is for receiving serves as the load-bearing core concrete.
Taking advantage of the fact that such foam sheets (based on Styrofoam or the like) have an extraordinarily high thermal insulation capacity, there is the possibility of an ample amount by arranging a relatively thin layer of this material on the side walls of the hollow body
To ensure thermal insulation of the finished wall system, whereby the actual material of the hollow body no longer needs to have insulating properties. This can now consist exclusively of load-bearing material (concrete or the like) determined by the required strength properties of the wall.
The inner cavity of such a structural element is poured with core concrete in a known manner, but can also remain empty.
In order to provide the relatively sensitive foam board with better protection against mechanical damage, it is possible not to arrange it on the longitudinal walls of the concrete element, but rather to embed it in the same. The plate is then protected on both sides by the solid material of the hollow body.
The adhesion of the foam sheet to the material surrounding it can be increased by providing it with an adhesive layer applied to one or both sides. This adhesive layer can also be designed as a vapor or moisture barrier layer.
On the other hand, it is also possible to subsequently attach the foam board to the longitudinal walls of the hollow body using adhesives or the like, or to provide grooves into which the board can be inserted.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows a component according to the invention, the foam sheet being arranged on the surface of a longitudinal wall facing the cavity. It denotes a the longitudinal wall of the building element, b the foam board, c any adhesive layer and d the cavity intended to receive core concrete.
In Fig. 2 a similar component is shown, only here foam panels are arranged on both longitudinal walls. Here, too, a denotes the longitudinal wall, b the two foam sheets, c any adhesive layers and d the cavity for the core concrete.
Finally, FIG. 3 shows a component in which the insulating foam sheet is embedded in a longitudinal wall. Again, a denotes the longitudinal wall, b the embedded foam board and d the cavity for the core concrete.
