Description

 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 EMI1.1
The invention relates to a moisture- and vapor-blocking, possibly also sound and heat insulating component, which is particularly suitable for use in high, deep, water and
Road construction is suitable: its particularly advantageous design enables an improvement of the previously known means of insulation against moisture, noise and heat while at the same time increasing the load-bearing capacity of the walls, ceilings, etc. As explained below, the previously known means are not suitable to meet all the requirements mentioned economically equally.

For example, it is known to insulate a building against rising damp by means of roofing strips, lead layers or even flat foils. With such materials, however, the masonry can move along the insulating layer, especially when the building dries out. Insulating layers with dovetail-shaped corrugations have also been proposed, on which either wall concrete is applied on both sides or wall concrete on one side and the plaster on the other side. can. Such insulating layers have the disadvantage, however, that the corrugations run consistently in one direction and therefore do not hinder displacements in this direction. In addition, processing is made more difficult by the directed corrugations.

A special load-bearing capacity as well as adequate sound and heat insulation cannot be achieved with these layers.

Except for the use of bituminized corrugated cardboard, wool felt cardboard, fiberglass mats, hard foam sheets, cork sheets or the like. in ceilings and walls it is also known to provide air ducts for heat and sound insulation in such components. These ceilings and walls are insulated by air spaces

the basement wall and thus form an air insulation between the panels and the basement wall. However, this insulation is extremely cumbersome and, above all, expensive, and it also offers no protection against humid water.

Roadways and sidewalks have been od by intermediate layers of bitumen paper, foils. Like.

be sound and heat insulating. It should also be indefinitely durable, storable, easy to transport and also cheap.

The invention solves this problem by a film made of plastic, the bulges of which on one side of the film have a large number of - preferably honeycomb type, z. B. hexagonal, mutually arranged and formed support surfaces and on the other side homologously arranged, arch-like support surfaces.

Such a component according to the invention corresponds to the requirements outlined and is therefore versatile, in particular usable for economical installation in building construction, civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and road construction. In the case of these components, too, economical manufacture, inexpensive shipping costs and easy handling on the construction site are guaranteed.

Due to the special surface design of the component according to the invention with arch-like support surfaces of the plastic bulges, good adhesion to mortar or the like and excellent flexural rigidity are guaranteed with absolute moisture insulation. With the preferably hexagonal arrangement of the bulges relative to one another, they move as close as possible to one another while avoiding empty areas, so that a straight line cannot be drawn in any direction without piercing the bulges and particularly good flexural strength can be achieved. The vault-like design of the individual bulges in z.

   B. hexagonal basic shape a particularly even stress distribution. Local overstressing is safely avoided despite the large load-bearing capacity.

The load-bearing capacity of the component according to the invention can be further increased by filling the bulges with known building materials. By filling with glass wool or the like
Way to achieve a particularly high level of airborne sound insulation.

The invention can also be used particularly successfully in construction wherever moisture- and vapor-blocking properties as well as sound-insulating and heat-insulating properties are required at the same time. These requirements are today such. B. particularly when creating lightweight ceilings. In the case of rising masonry, on the other hand, the sound and heat insulation are less important, but a complete moisture and vapor barrier, so that shifts of the
Walls in any direction are certain to be avoided.

In floor construction, the component according to the invention can be used as a compensating or pressure-distributing, floating and nevertheless thin intermediate layer. This is made possible in particular by the vault-like support surfaces of the bulges arranged offset to one another, so that an extremely solid mutual support effect, previously unknown in the field of insulating films, is achieved. For example, ceilings or floors have when installing the component after
Invention and at relatively thin, z. B. only 2 cm thick intermediate layer, no weak points that can give way in the event of local or point overload.

In addition, depending on the type of installation in a ceiling, this component causes a considerable increase in heat and sound insulation.
The sound insulation can in a known manner by underlaying suitable seamless, z. B. prefabricated insulation layers can be increased. The support surfaces of the profile film can also be reinforced in a simple manner by special sound and heat insulating plates made of cork, rubber, felt or the like, so that sound bridges can be largely avoided. If the profile film according to the invention is placed on a still wet substructure, i.e. H. laid on a raw ceiling, the floor including the pavements, such as linoleum, parquet, rubber, PVC foils and panels, can be laid without waiting for the raw ceiling to dry out.

When insulating a building standing in the ground, the component can be placed on the outside of the wall or glued so that between
An air cushion remains in the ground and wall. In this way, the masonry can dry out perfectly in a simple and economical way that has not been achieved before and, above all, can be kept dry for practically any length of time. It is also easily possible to use these components to create a so-called UW anne "for a house, which can also cope with the pressure of the groundwater.

The component according to the invention can also be used in the construction of roadways or sidewalks, as a result of which a highly stressable and permanent layer blocks the rising moisture. If waterproof concrete is applied to the profile shape or the concrete is covered by a waterproof covering - e.g. B. a black ceiling - is covered, frost damage can be completely avoided.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

The component according to the invention can also be used in hydraulic engineering. So it can be used in the construction of dams, dike fortifications as well as in the sheathing of concrete pipes, z. B. sewer pipes are used.

Finally, it should also be mentioned that the component according to the invention is also used in vibration technology. With appropriate installation, the component is able to effectively reduce the transmission of vibration and shock energies. This is extremely important for the installation of work machines, especially when it is necessary for manufacturing reasons to ensure a rest position that is safe from twisting.

The drawings contain some exemplary embodiments and application examples of the invention.

1 shows a three-dimensional view of part of a component according to the invention seen from above, FIG. 2 shows a similar view from below; FIG. 3 shows a section along the line 3-3 in FIG. 1; FIG. 4 shows a section similar to that in FIG. 3 through a component according to the invention, in which the convex sides of the support surfaces are reinforced by special small plates; FIG. 5 shows a section similar to the previous two figures, but the film having different wall thicknesses; Hg. 6 shows the section through a ceiling that has a component according to the invention

are ; FIG. T section through a ceiling in which a component according to the invention is built using plastic foam.

As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the film 10 forming the component according to the invention has a profiling or embossing extending over the entire surface in the form of bulges 11 which are offset from one another and are approximately truncated pyramidal. Support surfaces 12 are formed on the underside of the film 10 (FIG. 2), while the remaining surfaces of the film form arch-like support surfaces 13. The hexagonal arrangement and design of the bulges 11 has proven to be particularly useful. The bulges are therefore like honeycombs
 EMI3.2
yes, not only exercise heat and sound insulating functions, but also as a stable, steadfast
Protective layer work.

The support surfaces 12 can, as indicated in FIGS. 1-2, in particular FIG. 3, with
Beads 14 may be provided to improve the storage of the profile film on its base. As FIG. 5 indicates, the support surfaces 12 can have a greater wall thickness; they can also be reinforced by special plates 15 and 16 according to FIGS. Depending on the intended use, the profiles can thus be designed in a simple manner to meet the requirements. The plates 15 or 16 simultaneously take on heat and sound insulating functions. You can e.g. B. od cork, rubber, felt, plastic foam. Like. More exist. They can already be connected to the profile film by gluing or welding during manufacture.

During installation, the profile film 10 is placed directly on the raw ceiling 17 (FIG. 6). Since the films are delivered in rolls of certain widths or plates of certain dimensions, the edges must be laid overlapping and each other in a known manner, for. B. with bitumen, glued. The profile foils can also be carefully welded in place using the appropriate tools. The screed material 18 (FIG. 6) is placed on the foil 10 laid in this way and the pavement 19 is then laid. The resulting air spaces 20 provide excellent heat and sound insulation.

Due to the arch-like formation of the bulges 11 and their appropriate mutual support, the screed material 18 can be laid thinner than otherwise with insulated ceilings, the permissible load capacity not being restricted in any way.

In FIG. 6 the plates 16 are not arranged on the convex side of the support surfaces 12 as in FIG. 4, but rather on the concave side. This embodiment has the advantage that the platelets 16 do not require any structural height and cannot be damaged or even knocked off during transport or laying. In this embodiment, too, the forces are no longer passed through the plate 16, which increases the stability of the ceiling. In this arrangement, the small plates 16 have more the task of creating a distance between the screed material 18 and the solid ceiling 17, which permanently prevents sound blocks. The platelets 16 can consist of a particularly soft material.

Finally, FIG. T shows an exemplary embodiment in which a layer of a foamable material 21, e.g. B. polystyrene foam or one based on the polyurethanes or with acid hardeners foaming phenolic resin was applied. The profile film 10 according to the invention was pressed into this hardening foam layer 21. Air-

As mentioned in the introduction to the description, the profile film according to the invention can also be used analogously in civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and road construction.

Depending on the intended use, thickness can be from about 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm or even more. When
