Sodann fügt man 3 g Natriumaluminiumtetraäthyl hinzu.

Example 2: 100 g of liquid vinyl chloride kept at -25 ° C. are introduced into a flask equipped with a stirrer and reflux condenser, with the exclusion of air and moisture. 3 g of sodium aluminum tetraethyl are then added.
The temperature is kept at -250 ° C. and the mixture is stirred for the entire duration of the polymerization. After 6 hours, 19 g of polyvinyl chloride are obtained.
Example 3: 100 g of liquid vinyl chloride and 500 g of normal hexane, which liquids are kept at -40 ° C., are placed in a flask equipped with a reflux condenser and stirrer, with the exclusion of air and moisture. 5 g of beryllium methyl borohydride are then added.
The temperature is kept at -400C and the mixture is stirred for the entire duration of the polymerization. After 48 hours, 32 g of polyvinyl chloride are obtained.
Example 4: 500 g of vinyl chloride diluted with 11% n-hexane are introduced into an autoclave equipped with a stirrer. The temperature is kept at 100 ° C. and 5 g of magnesium borohydride are introduced.
The temperature is kept at 100 ° C. during the duration of the polymerization and 210 g of polyvinyl chloride are obtained after 20 hours.
