Mixing device, especially for the production of concrete,
Mortar or the like

The invention relates to a device for mixing materials which is particularly suitable for the production of concrete, mortar or the like and comprises an upright, cylindrical mixing container in which a cylindrical wall is arranged coaxially. In the annular space between the coaxial cylinder walls, several blades are arranged and mounted on plates, which in turn are attached to the lower ends of support arms articulated on a circumferential part.

It is known that the mixing effect increases with increasing speed of rotation of the mixer, but in order to fully evaluate the higher speed of rotation the blades must be arranged in such a way that good contact with the various particles of the mix is guaranteed at all times.

In order to mix very coarse material, as it is used for normal concreting work, it is particularly desirable to use a high peripheral speed of the blades (over 2 m / sec). Therefore, the inner wall of the mixing container should have a relatively large diameter, so that there is a high average speed of the blades.

To take advantage of such high blade speeds, the support arms in known mixing machines are pressed towards the bottom of the mixing container by springs, so that even at high speed, an intimate contact between the blades and the material to be mixed is ensured and good mixing of the material can be achieved.

The invention aims to improve mixing machines of the type described with spring-loaded support arms by simple means so that the blades attached to the support arms can also crush larger clumps of material without being pressed down too much during normal mixing operation. This is achieved according to the invention in that the spring pressure is exerted on the support arms by elongated, cantilevered leaf springs, which are attached to the circumferential part and lie slidably on the support arms in such a way that the point of contact between each support arm and the associated leaf spring is pivoted upwards of the support arm moves along the leaf spring towards its clamping point.

As a result, in normal mixing operation, in which the blades are only lifted up to a limited extent by the material to be mixed, the spring force exerted on the blades and acting against the ground is smaller than that of normal spring characteristics in relation to the force exerted on the blades when they are raised high corresponds. The pressure of the blades on the material is therefore only relatively low during normal mixing operation, but on the other hand, the blades are able to quickly comminute hardened clumps of material, because when the clusters pass under the blades they are raised higher and thus a strong, but apply yielding force to the cluster.

The leaf spring, for example a layered triangular spring, is advantageously held at its clamping point in a pivotable sleeve which encloses part of the spring and can be adjusted by a screw to regulate the spring pressure. An adjustment of the blades in the vertical direction is possible in that slots are provided in the vertical direction in a mounting plate attached to the lower end of the blade support arm, in order to accommodate the screw bolts for attaching the blades.

Adjustment of the blade in the horizontal direction can be made possible in a similar manner by providing horizontal slots in the blade for receiving the screw bolts. Alternatively, the vertical slots in the blades and the horizontal slots in the assembly
