Description

Inhalatlonaapparat in Pfelfenform.

Inhalation device in the shape of an apple.
The present invention relates to an inhalation device in the form of a whistle. In the drawing, a pipe of this type is shown in section.
In the head of the pipe of any shape, a resilient ring b is inserted, on which a sieve c rests. The drug in question in the form of a cartridge d is pushed into the bowl of the pipe above the sieve c. The latter is separated from the wall of the pipe bowl by a soft fabric (flannel or the like). The pipe bowl a is closed with a cover f provided with a few air inlet openings, preferably by a bayonet lock. A leaf spring 9 is attached to the cover and presses the cartridge d against the sieve c. Underneath the sieve c there is a layer of cotton wool, which prevents the medicament from being sucked in and has a cleaning effect.
For the purpose of inhalation, the mouthpiece of the filled pipe is put into the mouth and the air is sucked in in the usual way, which passes along the cartridge and exerts the necessary healing effect on the organs of the human body in question.
