Description

    Wechselstrommotorz hler.
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

In addition to the purpose of the iron, it is to form a magnetic end piece of the secondary flow field, above all the task of giving the lines of force in this field a certain direction
 EMI2.1
Eison itself generate induction currents, and only these receive their torque from the main current field. A clear proof of this is the fact that movement does not occur at all if the rotating body consists of a solid iron disk.

It is not a matter of a mere combination of the effects of an iron disk, which is set in rotation with the help of the main and voltage current fields shifted in phase with respect to one another, and the copper disk of the so-called Ferrais instruments, since neither a full iron disk nor a copper disk is a rotating body rotate at all in the present invention. A copper ring does not produce any rotation either. We expressly emphasize that a pure Ferrari effect does not occur here, because with this phenomenon lines of force of periodically changing intensity and direction circulate in any metallic, i.e. also anti-magnetic rotating body, which penetrate perpendicular to its plane of rotation.

They evoke the same circular currents which, in interaction with the currents that generate them, cause the rotation. So it would have to be a copper washer or at least a copper ring in which Mngnet or. Coil system of the present invention inserted as a rotating body, rotate.

However, as already noted above and confirmed by tests, this is not the case.

For the intensive effect of the wrapping of the ring and the nature of the same, we give a few test results here: A simple copper flat ring of about 0.5 mm
Strength does not rotate at all at 1100 watt meter reading; a flat iron ring of
0'3 mm thickness needs 270 seconds for 20 revolutions at 1100 watt meter; such a one surrounded by a self-contained copper winding, needed at 1100
Wattmeter reading for 20 revolutions 70 seconds; four such iron rings, surrounded by a copper winding, needed 20 revolutions at 1100 watt meter deflection
19 seconds.

According to another test disc, an iron ring surrounded by an insulated copper winding takes 60 seconds with a deflection of 1100 watt meters for 20 revolutions; When this insulated winding came to a metallic connection with the iron ring at one point, it took 63 seconds at 1100 watt meter deflection for 20 revolutions; as the
Winding received a metallic finish at two opposite points with the iron ring, the number of seconds decreased at 1100 watt meter deflection for 20 revolutions
23 seconds; with a metallic finish in three places it needed the same effect
18 seconds; when the winding then got a metallic connection with the iron ring at four, eight and finally sixteen places, it took 17 seconds to produce the same force in all three cases.

An iron ring made of four lamellas, each 0'3 mm thick, encased in a copper bushing, made 74 revolutions in one minute at 1100 watt meter; such an iron ring with 30 individual, self-contained or, as noted, separate copper rings, made 40 turns; one without all copper sheathing 17 turns the same ring with a self-contained bare copper winding of 0.7 mm wire, made 140 revolutions under the same conditions; When the winding wire was taken 0'35 mm thick, the speed was reduced to 106 revolutions.
