Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Schutzring gegen den Verlust von Fingerringen, Armbändern u. dgl., dessen Wesen darin besteht, dass ein über den Finger bezw. das Handgelenk zu streifender Gummiring eine federnde Klammer trägt, welche den über den Schutzring gestreiften Fingerring bezw. das Armband mittels dieser Klammer festhält und somit den Verlust des betreffenden Schmuckstückes infolge Abstreifens verhindert.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungform dargestellt, und zwar zeigt : Fig. 1 denselben im Gebrauchszustande, Fig. 2 denselben im Schaubild in vergrössertem Massstabe.

Der Schutzring wird zuerst über den Finger bezw. die Hand gezogen und die Schliesse 2 geöffnet. Hierauf wird der Schmuckring darüber gestreift, so dass er genau über den Gummiring zu liegen kommt und der Haken geschlossen. Hiebei schützt nicht nur die Schliesse allein gegen Verlust des Schmuekringes, sondern auch der Gummiring selbst, da durch das feste Sitzen des Schmuckringes auf dem Gummiring ein Abstreifen des durch durch Hundschuhe oder durch schnelles Herausziehen der Hand aus einer Tasche vollständig vermieden wird. Die kleine Metallschliesse an der der Handinnenfäche zugekehrten Seite hindert in keiner Weise die Beweglichkeit der Finger bezw. des Hand- gelenlies.
Dadurch, dass die Schliesse aus demselben Material wie der Ring gearbeitet und der Überzug des Gummiringes in derselben Farbe gehalten sein kann, wird sich der unter dem Schmuckring befindliche Schutzring gar nicht, oder nur sehr unwesentlich von der Farbe des Schmuckstückes abheben, so dass hiedurch die Wirkung desselben'in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt wird.
