   Ein   weiterer Vorteil derErfindung   besteht darin, dass billiges Material für die Lager angewendet werden kann und diese Lager dennoch nie heiss laufen, ferner dass sie lautlos arbeiten. Die bei den Kugellagern und Kunststoffrollen nötige Nachstellung ist nicht mehr nötig. 



   In derZeichnung ist eine   beispielsweiseAusführungsform   der erfindungsgemässen Maschine in Seitenansicht, teilweise im Schnitt, dargestellt. 



   Im Gestell 1 der Maschine ist an beiden Enden des Rotors ein Lager 2 mit Luftschmierung angeordnet und die Druckluft wird durch die Düsen 3 eingeblasen. Die bei 7 zugeführte Luft gelangt vom Raum 6 in die unterhalb der Lagerzapfen angeordneten Düsen 3 und hebt den Lagerzapfen 4 an. Die Luft strömt aber auch nach oben zwischen den Zapfen und die Lagerschale 5, jedoch ist der Luftdruck hier geringer als unten. Die eingeblasene Luft entweicht vom Zwischenraum zwischen denTeilen 4 und 5 in axialer Richtung. 



   Dadurch, dass der Drehzapfen 4 ringsherum mit Druckluft umgeben ist, werden Vibrationen vermieden. Das Einblasen erfolgt vorzugsweise entlang eines Bogens, dessen Zentralwinkel kleiner ist als 1200.
