Die Arbeitswicklung 9 liegt vorzugsweise in Serie mit der Feldwicklung des Generators 2. Beim Auftreten einer Spannungsspitze an der Arbeitswicklung 9 wird in beiden Steuerwicklungen 10 und 11 gleichzeitig eine Sekundärspannung induziert, welche wegen des gegensinnigen Windungssinnes der Spulen 10 und 11 kompensiert wird. Der die Wicklungen 10 und 11 speisende Transistor kann infolgedessen nicht beschädigt werden.
Der Transduktor kann nach einem abgewandelten Ausführungsbeispiel auch aus zwei einfachen Schenkelkernen mit je einer Arbeit-un einer Steuerwicklung bestehen. Der Stromfluss durch die Arbeitswicklungen erfolgt hiebei über vorgeschaltete Gleichrichter im Halbwellenbetrieb.

When a voltage peak occurs on the working winding 9, a secondary voltage is induced in both control windings 10 and 11 at the same time, which is compensated for because the coils 10 and 11 are turned in opposite directions. The transistor feeding the windings 10 and 11 cannot be damaged as a result.
According to a modified embodiment, the transducer can also consist of two simple leg cores, each with a work and a control winding. The current flow through the working windings takes place via upstream rectifiers in half-wave operation.
