Universalgelenkkupplung..
EMI1.1

Universal joint coupling ..
EMI1.1
The drawing shows the universal joint, namely, FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section of the same, FIG. 2 shows a front view of the intermediate piece serving as a joint, FIG. 3 shows a front view of FIG.
The universal joint consists of a spherical body a, which is fixedly connected to one shaft b or made in one piece with it. A wedge c is inserted into the spherical body a perpendicular to the axis of the shaft b, which wedge protrudes from the spherical body a at two diametrical points and forms two protruding wedges thereon.
A hollow lugcikalotto d is pushed onto the spherical body a, which has four radial slots offset from one another by!) 0, two of which serve to accommodate the protruding ends of the wedge c, while the other two slots have two wedges / '
EMI1.2
Wedges c are attached. The inner surface of the hollow ball body 9 corresponds to the circumferential surface of the hollow ball cap d, so that in this way a universal joint is created which connects the two shafts b and h.
The widths of the slots e correspond to the thickness of the wedges c and f, but they are longer than the wedges c and f are wide, in order to make an adjustment of the interconnected parts possible up to certain limits, which after all is due to the different Oscillation of the individual waves is necessary.
The wedge c is secured in a simple manner by means of one through the
EMI1.3
It should also be noted that the hollow spherical body g can also be attached to or connected to any drive pulley instead of directly to the shaft h.
