Das in dem Stamm-Patente Nr. 21795 unter Schutz gestellte Verfahren ist auch auf Rohrleitungen usw. aus Legierungen des Kupfers anwendbar.
Dieser Umstand bietet den ganz besonderen Vorteil. dass man beispielsweise auch die Wandungen der vornehmlich aus Bronze oder Messing hergestellten Kondensatorrohre mit einer Eisenoxydschichte überziehen und somit gegen die Einwirkung von Seewasser schützen liann. Durch eine geeignete Querschnittsform des in das Rohr einzubringenden Spiraldrahtes kann man gleichzeitig bewirken, dass das Wasser den Draht nicht über- springt, sondern durch den Draht geführt wird, so dass dadurch eine innige Berührung des Wassers mit der Rohrwandung und somit eine stetige höchst zweckentsprechende Kühtung der lotzteren erzielt wird.
