Transportbehälter für Kleinraketen
EMI1.1

Transport container for small rockets
EMI1.1
known, the portable container also serving as a launch pad by ejecting the missile from the container.
When used by infantry, such missiles are exposed to the effects of the weather and their functional reliability can be impaired by rain, snow, and sand. The invention shows how such harmful influences can be avoided.
According to the invention it is provided that the container front opening from which the rocket flies out is closed airtight and watertight by a foil provided with tear strips, for example a plastic or aluminum foil, in such a way that this foil pierces through the rocket when it is launched and along the Tear strip is torn. An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown diagrammatically in the drawings in the state before and after the rocket has been launched.
The transport container 1 for an anti-tank missile, designed for example as a lightweight body and provided with carrying loops, has a prismatic shape and is provided with a pivotable starting frame 10 which allows it to be tilted according to the drawings. The front opening of the container 1, from which the operationally deployed rocket is shot out, is closed airtight and watertight by a plastic or aluminum foil 2 provided with tear strips 20. When the rocket is fired, its head arranged behind it breaks through the film 2 and tears it open along the tear strips 20 arranged diagonally according to the arrangement of the stabilizing wings of the rocket, as shown in FIG.
