Method for producing a textile layer material
The invention relates to a method for producing a textile layer material which comprises a fiber fleece and one or more layers of plastic, rubber or rubber-like substances. According to the invention, the fiber fleece is roughened before the layers are applied and thus provided with a pile.
An embodiment of the method according to the invention can be explained, for example, with reference to the drawings.
FIGS. 1-4 show sections through a layer material produced according to the invention.
In a preferred embodiment, the textile layer material should have a leather-like appearance. The surface of the material must therefore have certain notches or grains that are always retained. The above-mentioned scars are formed in such a way that the outer layer of plastic, rubber or a plastic-like material is practically only connected to the actual fiber fleece via a pile. The layer is therefore generally at a certain distance from the fiber fleece. The pile located between the layer and the fiber fleece thus represents a relatively flexible connection between the layer and the fiber fleece, whereby the creation and maintenance of the mentioned grains is ensured.
EMI1.1
Pile 3 was formed or evenly to form an ordered pile 3 (Fig. 2).
The layer 2 was then applied to the disordered or ordered pile 3. The individual pile threads are still of different lengths.
In the embodiments according to Figs. 3 and 4, the pile 3 has been sheared before the layer 2 is applied.
The different training possibilities for the pile cause different grains and thus a different appearance of the surface of the layer material. The roughening itself can take place in a manner known per se. As is also known, the plastic, rubber or the rubber-like material can be applied simply by brushing, rolling or spraying. Of course, a fleece can also be coated on both sides in the manner described.
