Hydrocarbon lamp with auxiliary carburetor lamp.

The present invention relates to hydrocarbon lamps with an auxiliary pre-gas flame, in which the inner jacket surface of the same, which is located near the upper edge of the sang wick, develops the excess hydrocarbon vapor and the latter reaches the main burner through a mixing chamber.

The invention consists in that above the developed hydrocarbon-evacuating annular sleeve and concentrically with the same, a pipe is arranged, inside which a body rigidly connected to the same and closed at the bottom is arranged, the pipe and body being adjustable with respect to their height position and such are designed so that between tube and sleeve, as well as sleeve and body, annular, controllable spaces are created.

The aim of the invention is to obtain an unobstructed mixing space between the pipe and the body, the deposition of soot and the like. Like. In the mixing room and to be able to easily regulate the amount of air to be mixed.

Fig. 1 shows a lamp according to the present invention in longitudinal section, Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section of the same lamp as Fig. 1 with a different embodiment
 EMI1.1

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the wick lies, as usual, between two wick tubes b, of which, however, the inner wick tube b, through which the central air supply to the flame takes place, is considerably longer than the outer one. The upper end of the same has a smaller diameter than the inner wick tube and this narrower part begins below the upper edge of the outer wick tube, so that the inner surface of the wick is exposed to a certain depth.

An annular evaporation chamber c is formed by the narrower part 1 and the wick surface, which is only open at the top. A sleeve d drawn in at the upper edge is arranged concentrically to the part bl and is held in front of part bl by rods. The diameter of this sleeve is dimensioned so that it is almost equal to the diameter of the inner wick tube.

Through this annular space between sleeve d and b1, the dulls rising from the wick pull and pass above the sleeve d into a longer conical sleeve /. The latter is narrowed near the upper end at h and expanded at the lower edge at /. Inside this sleeve, a double-conical body is attached to it by means of rods. It is carried by a rod t, which is guided in a guide tube @ arranged in the wick tube b. To adjust the rod i respectively. of the body and sleeve for regulating the flame, which serves the lowest

and sleeve b1 through which combustion air enters can be changed accordingly.

Around the lower end of the rod i a spiral spring k is placed, which the rod constantly
