Description

Rolladenkasten

Shutter box
There are roller shutter boxes made of a wood wool-cement mixture, pumice, heavy concrete, also combined with sheet metal cladding and insulated with styrofoam. These roller shutter boxes have the disadvantage that they have insufficient insulating properties and are very expensive to manufacture. In addition, some of them require their own plaster base. What all known roller shutter box designs have in common is that they are too heavy in weight and yet have too little inherent stability.
According to the invention, a roller shutter box is therefore proposed, which is characterized by a skeleton made of expanded rib metal, in particular in the side bars, which is filled with rigid foam made of Styrofoam. This achieves an extremely high level of inherent rigidity and flexural strength.
The expanded rib metal serving as a skeleton is also an excellent plaster base.
Another embodiment of the invention consists in that the side webs have a metal profile rail at the bottom as stop rails and plaster strips.
It is further proposed according to the invention that a fold is formed above next to the expanded metal, which provides the connection and the joint reinforcement for the concrete lintel insulation.
Furthermore, it is proposed according to the invention that the inside of the roller shutter boxes is also reinforced by an expanded metal insert.
Finally, it is also proposed according to the invention that the expanded rib metal protrudes from the ends of the roller shutter box, whereby a tear-proof connection to the roller shutter box and the neighboring masonry or the like is ensured.
Despite the high inherent rigidity of the roller shutter box according to the invention, it has an extraordinarily low weight. Depending on the desired roller shutter box length, the head pieces are used and fixed in a known manner.
In the drawing, the roller shutter box is shown in cross section.
EMI1.1
is the recess for the lintel insulation, which is also the joint reinforcement, and with --5-- the recess for the lintel reinforcement.
