1. Dampfkochapparat zur Zubereitung von Speisen, gekennzeichnet durch einen über dem Rost (i)   bezw.   zwischen diesem und dem Wasserbehälter (h) einsetzbaren, zum Schutze des Wasserbehälterbodens dienenden Schieber (q), welcher, nachdem die Dämpfung beendet und das im Wasserbehälter noch vorhandene Wasser abgelassen worden ist, eingeschoben wird, um sofort durch trockenes Erhitzen das gedämpfte Material trocknen zu können, wobei durch eine untere   Lufteinlassöffnung   (s) Luft in den Apparat eintritt und die Dämpfe durch eine den Dämpfraum mit dem Schornstein verbindende absperrbare obere Öffnung   (1)   entweichen.
