Zeitungshalter.

Newspaper holder.
The invention relates to a newspaper holder, in which the holding of the newspaper is conveyed by a holding rod and a resilient clamping rod articulated on the handle, which can be connected to the holding rod at the top and allows the newspaper or magazine to be quickly replaced by folding back.
The invention consists in that the clamping rod is articulated by a hinge with an axially displaceable pin in the handle, which can be determined by a rotatable disk after the free, bow-shaped end of the clamping rod in the upper end of the hollow after the newspaper has been introduced Holding rod has been introduced and so connected to the same. This device firstly prevents unintentional loosening of the clamping rod because, in order to release the clamping rod, not only is the locking disk rotated, but also the clamping rod must be axially displaced. Furthermore, this device enables the design of the upper end of the clamping rod as a hanging eyelet for the newspaper holder.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows the side view of the holder, FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the lialtestange and the handle, and FIG. 3 shows a detail. The old

both a setting plate d is rotatably mounted. The support rod is hollow and has a cutout al at the upper end, which is designed to accommodate the clamping bracket f. For this purpose, the latter has a corresponding reinforcement f1, which prevents it from sliding sideways, and is connected with its lower end to a shaft or pin g by means of a joint.
The latter is mounted in the handle b of the newspaper holder and has a pin 91 which is guided in a longitudinal groove h 1 of the handle so that only a displacement of the shaft 9 in the longitudinal direction can take place. The

can intervene.
If the newspaper holder is to be opened, the disk d is rotated so that it emerges from the notch t; then the clamping bump f can be moved and pushed out of the recess a so that it can be folded back into the dotted position (FIG. 2). If the newspaper is inserted, the clamping bracket is
