Process for generating and collecting non-oxidizing protective gases for the expulsion of crude kerosene and other liquids which develop explosive or self-igniting gases.
To push crude kerosene, gasoline and other flammable liquids, a non-oxidizing protective gas, e.g. B. carbonic acid, which prevents the formation of explosive or self-igniting gases.
In order to make this process as economical as possible, the exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine or a boiler shell have been proposed as protective gas.
EMI1.1
Provide an explosion-preventing effect as well as a completely non-oxidizing gas.
This is achieved in that a flammable gas, e.g. B. luminous gas, mixed beforehand with the amount of air or oxygen required for its complete combustion and then completely burned under the exclusion of air in a closed container, which also serves as a collecting container for the combustion gases produced. Through the complete combustion of the gas taking place in the absence of air and through

which takes up the gas mixture to be burned, the mixing ratio of which can be regulated by the taps f and g connected to lines c and cl.
From the mixing chamber e, the combustible gas mixture is fed to a nozzle i located in a closed container t, at which it is ignited by electrical ignition and permanently burned in the absence of air. The combustion gases are through

The processes of the process described are not to be compared with the work process taking place in an explosion engine, because in the present process the valves and other moving parts that are indispensable for the operation of an engine are completely eliminated; Furthermore, in contrast to the periodic ignition, permanent combustion takes place, and finally any intake of air, which can occur for various reasons when an engine is in operation, is completely excluded.
