 dgl.1. Die federnde Einlage versucht infolge ihres Bestrebens in die Horizontale zurückzukehren die Doppelmanschette auseinander zu drücken (s. PfeilE in Fig. 3) und schmiegt sich infolgedessen eng an dieselbe an und strafft sie. 



   2. Die durch die Einschubtaschen in der Doppelmanschette gehaltene Versteifungseinlage wird gegen den Manschettenbogen gedrückt (vgl. Pfeil F in Fig. 3) und strafft somit die Doppelmanschette der Länge nach. 



   3. Die Doppelmanschette wird durch die Einlage auch der Breite nach gespannt und gestrafft (s. 



  Pfeil G in Fig. 3). Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass der   Steg--K--des   Manschettenknopfes die Doppelmanschette in Richtung des Pfeiles um die Versteifungseinlage zieht (s. Fig. 4).

   2. The stiffening insert held in the double cuff by the insertion pockets is pressed against the cuff arch (see arrow F in FIG. 3) and thus tightens the length of the double cuff.

PATENT CLAIM: Double cuff for men's shirts u. Like with a stiffening insert corresponding to the shape of the folded cuff, the incisions in the area of the cufflink holes for the EMI2.1 Cuff layer in the corner area, as is known per se, pockets (A) are provided for fixing the stiffening insert (M).
