: Web --13-- exerts the appropriate pressure. When the printing blanket 12 is moved and the circular stencil --1-- is rotated in the --9 or 8 direction, the printing ink - 14-- is doctored through and thus the material web - 13 - is printed. Even if the squeegee beam --3-- shows a slight deflection, the line pressure is the same over any working width, since the same pressure prevails everywhere in the inflatable body --6--.
As FIG. 2 shows, the doctor bar - 3 - is composed of two parts - 3 ', 3 "- which are screwed together by screws - 15, 16 -. The in a gap between the halves of the

Squeegee blade limited.
While in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 the inflatable body has a rectangular cross-section, FIGS. 3 and 4 show a doctor blade device for a round stencil of a film printing machine, in which the inflatable body - 6 - has a circular cross-section and the printing substrate is a table top - 17-- is. Otherwise, the construction according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is the same as that according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
Replacing the doctor blade --4-- is somewhat difficult in the described embodiments of the invention. In order to enable the use of squeegees with differently shaped working edges, suitably shaped work strips can be placed on the actual squeegee blade --4--.
In Fig. 5, 6, 7 and 8 different clip-on strips - 18 - are shown for the doctor blades.
The most economical coloring is achieved when the blade is effective without a ledge and has an acute angle in the direction of movement, so that the squeegee blade works on impact. If the angle is smaller than 90 and the squeegee blade works slowly, then the application of paint increases.
Various effects can be achieved by means of the clip-on strips, whereby the doctor blade-4-always remains vertical. In Fig. 5 to 8 only a few forms are given as examples, which do not claim to be complete.
