Device for treating a sheet-like material
The invention relates to a device for treating a sheet-like material which moves relatively between working parts exerting a pressure on one another, at least one of which is a magnetic body, which has two or more on the other side of the material to be processed, responsive to magnetic forces cylindrical working parts magnetically attracts, each of the working parts being opposed by a pole face of the magnet body which extends with constant polarity and essentially over the entire working width of the device.
 EMI1.1
Working parts attracted to magnetic bodies do not produce a closed magnetic flux but only "stick" to one pole.

According to the invention, this deficiency is remedied in that two adjacent pole faces of the magnet body have different polarity and that two of the roller-shaped working parts, which are assigned to pole faces of different polarity (N, S), are bridged by a body that conducts the magnetic flux. As a result, a closed magnetic flux is produced via the attracted working parts and a good magnetic efficiency of the device is achieved.

The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings by means of exemplary embodiments, without being restricted thereto.

Fig. 1 shows in section a device according to the invention designed as a working unit of a concealment device. 2 and 3 show in section two devices according to the invention designed as roller presses (calenders).

In the lamination device according to FIG. 1, a material web - 1 - is to be laminated onto a second material web. For this purpose, the material web - 2 - is provided with an application of adhesive (not shown) and with the other material web --1--, between pressure rollers - 3--, which are made of magnetizable material, and the pole faces -4 of the two Terminal strips --5-- pressed into a bar-shaped magnetic body. An additional intermediate roller - 6 - made of magnetizable material rests on the two pressure rollers - 3 and 6 - a closed magnetic flux is created from one pole of the magnet body to the other via the rollers - 3 and 6 and consequently a high degree of efficiency with strong Attraction is achieved.

If the pressure rollers - 3 - do not have front guide bearings in which the pressure rollers can move vertically but not horizontally, then support strips --7-- are required to secure against horizontal roll-out. The pin bars --5-- of the magnetic body extend over the

 Magnetic roller formed magnetic body.

Inside the magnet roller is the non-rotating magnet system, which consists of the excitation coil - 8--, the magnet core - 9--, which forms a pole rib that extends over the entire length of the magnet roller, and two lateral pole ribs --12-- consists, which latter have a polarity different from the central pole rib of the magnetic core - 9 -. The magnet system and thus the magnet roller therefore has three

Each pole face - 4 - is assigned - made of magnetizable material and two pressure rollers --3-- are bridged by intermediate rollers --6-- made of magnetizable material. The two lateral pressure rollers --3-- are prevented from dodging by supporting strips --7--.

The magnetic flux is also closed in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, which guarantees good efficiency and high contact pressure.

The embodiment according to Fig. 3 shows a calender with three calender rolls designed as magnetic rolls and two pressure rolls --3 - made of magnetizable material between two magnetic rolls. The magnetic rollers again consist of a rotatable roller shell --11-- made of non-magnetic material and a non-rotating magnetic system with excitation coils --8-- and magnetic cores - 9--, to which pole ribs extending over the entire length of the magnetic rollers - connected are. Also in the embodiment of FIG. 3, the magnetic flux is closed, u. between the magnet system of the adjacent magnet roller.
