Now the pin 19 presses on a one-armed lever 23 rotatable at point 24 (see Fig. 3) and immediately pulls the release pin 9 located on the lever 8 back out of the drum by means of the pull rod 11, presses the release lever 15 on its pin 14 by means of rod 12 back to its initial position to hold up the drive pulley pin 19, at the same time a snap lock 1C, 17 holds the lever 15 with its nose 18 again (see FIG. 1).
During the retraction of the release pin 9, the drum 1 is indexed so much by means of a feed device (pawl 27) independently of the main shaft 3 of the clockwork that the release pin 9 hits the full part of the casing when it goes back and the drum does not during further rotations hinders. This is done as follows (see Fig. 5).
Immediately after the action of the drive screw pin 19, the pin 22 presses on the one-armed lever 25 rotatable at point 24 and pulls the lever 28 provided with the pawl 27 and rotatable about the axis 3 by means of the pull rod 26, the lever 28 provided with the pawl 27 in the ratchet wheel of the Drum 1 engages. While the spur hook lever 30 falls into a somewhat longer hole 7 running parallel to the row of holes 6 in order to prevent any disturbances to the driving clock, the drum 1 is also advanced so much that, as already mentioned above, the release pin 9 hits the full drum shell meets.

Connection 29 and ratchet lever 30) back again, the ratchet 30 goes back out of the hole 7 and the pawl 27 again engages in the ratchet to turn the drum further. The upper pawl 32 holds the drum in place during the return movement of the pawl 27. During this entire process, the drive pulley 2, which is firmly connected to the toothed ring 34, has rotated the crank disk 36, which is also firmly connected to the gear 35 (ratio 1: 2), by half a revolution (see FIGS. H and 9), the crank hoib with its pin 37 by means of a double-armed lever 39 with its pivot points 42, a cock 41 opens or closes in a known manner.
