Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Übertragen von gedruckten Bildern auf einen andern Bildträger, wobei die Oberfläche des letzteren mit einem Lösungsmittel für die Druckfarben imprägniert und mit einem auf Papier gedruckten Bild in Kontakt gebracht wird.

Ein derartiges Verfahren wurde zur Herstellung von Filmmatrizen vorgeschlagen, welche zur Vervielfältigung eines gedruckten Originals dienen sollen. Die Poren des aus Holz bestehenden Bildträgers saugen die Lösungsflüssigkeit mit den gelösten Druckfarben exakt und ohne jedwedes Verschwimmen auf, wenn die Übertragung im Sinne der Erfindung durch einen Preys- odeur Walzvorgang erfolgt.
