Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to a container, which can be filled by vacuum effect, for preferably semi-liquid material such as liquid manure, swine dung, fertilizer or the like, with an upper suction opening for connecting the vacuum pump and a lower inlet or outlet connection.

Such containers are usually mounted on a chassis and are used for. B. for the transport and distribution of semi-liquid fertilizer. To fill this container, a vacuum is generated in it by means of the vacuum pump and the material to be picked up is sucked into the container via a suction line through the inlet nozzle. The inlet nozzle is arranged at the top of the container so that the container can be properly filled. In addition to the inlet nozzle, you naturally need an outlet nozzle located at the bottom of the container, from which the container filling can flow out again under the effect of pure gravity.

The arrangement of two separate nozzles is of course complex and expensive, especially since each of the two nozzles must be equipped with its own shut-off device. Another disadvantage of the inlet connection on top is the difficulty of the suction line connection. This is because the suction lines are relatively stiff and, above all, very heavy, so that lifting the line and connecting this line to the inlet connector cause considerable difficulties.

In order to avoid these difficulties, containers are also built with inlet nozzles arranged at the bottom, the inlet nozzle being used at the same time as an outlet nozzle. This saves you having to use your own outlet connection with the associated shut-off device and you can conveniently couple the suction line to the inlet or outlet connection, as this is only just above the floor.

However, difficulties arise when filling a container with an inlet nozzle at the bottom, because the negative pressure in the container sucks the semi-liquid mass in from below, but it cannot fill the container beyond a certain level, since the negative pressure affects the entire surface of the The mass sucked into the container acts and, due to its inhomogeneity, considerable cavities and empty spaces are created when sucked in. The container cannot therefore be completely filled and therefore cannot be used well.

The object of the invention is therefore to eliminate these deficiencies and to create a container of the type described at the outset whose capacity can be fully utilized and claimed.

The invention essentially solves this problem in that a type of riser pipe is provided in the interior of the container, which leads from the area of the inlet or outlet connection to the vicinity of the suction opening.

This riser pipe is neither connected to the suction opening nor to the inlet connection. This prevents, on the one hand, parts of the penetrating mass from being sucked off by the vacuum pump through the riser pipe when the container is filled with air, on the other hand, the inlet port that is not connected to the suction pipe can also serve as an outlet port, so that there is no need for a separate outlet with its own shut-off device becomes. When the container is filled, the air is sucked out of the container via the vacuum pump through the suction opening. H. A negative pressure is generated in the container and the semi-liquid material is sucked in via the suction line through the inlet nozzle. The level of the penetrating mass now rises like in a container without a riser pipe until the lower opening of the riser pipe is completely covered by the penetrating mass.

Then the negative pressure also acts via the riser pipe and the mass coming in from the inlet nozzle is sucked up through the riser pipe and swells out of the upper opening of the riser pipe. As soon as the lower opening of the riser pipe is immersed in the flowing mass, the filling of the container proceeds practically as if the inlet nozzle were arranged in the upper container area. There can be no more voids and empty spaces and the container can actually be completely filled.

In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown purely schematically in one embodiment, u. Between. FIG. 1 shows a mobile container with a riser pipe according to the invention in a side view.

   A container - 1 - for preferably semi-liquid material - 2 - which can be filled by vacuum action - is mounted on a chassis - 3 -. The container - l - has an upper suction opening --4-- for
 EMI1.1
still directly connected to the suction opening --4--.

If the container - 1 - is to be filled with a semi-liquid material - 2 -, the suction line - 7 -, one end of which is immersed in the material to be conveyed - 2 - becomes with the the other end is connected to the inlet or outlet connection --6--. The vacuum pump - 5 - creates a negative pressure in the container - l-- and the semi-liquid mass - 2 - is transported through the suction line - 7 - and the inlet and outlet connection --6-- into the container --l - sucked in. As soon as the penetrating mass has completely covered the lower opening --9-- of the riser pipe - 8 -, the negative pressure prevailing in the container also acts through the riser pipe - 8 - on the inflowing mass, so that it is in the riser pipe - 8 - rises and at the upper end - 10 - oozes out.

With such a riser pipe - 8 - one achieves a similar effect when filling the container - l - as with an inlet connection provided at the top of the container and thus achieves a complete filling of the container --1--.
