Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   The invention relates to a lifting jack for lifting loads, preferably road or rail vehicles, on individual wheels, which is provided with a lifting gear for lifting the load and a chassis for moving the jack on the floor, the chassis having running wheels which can be lowered onto the floor and lifted off the floor .

   Lifting jacks, which are used in sets of at least four pieces for lifting preferably road vehicles, but also with a correspondingly modified form of the load handling equipment for rail vehicles, are usually equipped with trolleys for moving the lifting jacks on the floor, which are arranged on the support frame of the lifting jack on the one hand the method allow the unloaded jacks on the floor, on the other hand through suitable training, z. B. eccentric mounting or suspension, when the jacks are loaded by the vehicle to be lifted, a derivation of the forces from the support structure via suitable support plates that keep the specific surface pressure low allow direct on the floor.

   In the version with eccentric mounting, the running wheels of the lifting jacks are lowered onto the floor by swiveling out and pressing down a drawbar rotatably mounted on the support frame of the lifting jacks in horizontal bolts, so that the axis of rotation of the drawbar formed by the horizontal bolts and the axes of the running wheels are not in a suitable position are arranged coaxial shape to each other. When the running wheels are placed on the floor, the operator lifts and tilts the jack so far, applying the appropriate force on the drawbar, that the support plates are no longer supported on the floor, the jack only on the running wheels and the rear, preferably steerable ones Wheels rests and can therefore be moved and moved.

   The disadvantages result on the one hand from the considerable effort required by the operator in the case of lifting jacks with a greater load capacity and therefore the corresponding dead weight, and on the other hand from the considerable space requirement due to the drawbar pivoted backwards.

   In the design with resilient mounting, these disadvantages can be avoided, but the effort for the resilient mounting is relatively high.

   The invention is based on the object of eliminating the disadvantages indicated and, in particular, of enabling the lifting jacks to be designed which, given the very often limited space at the place of use, results in good maneuverability when setting up and moving the jacks.

   In order to achieve this, a jack of the type mentioned is proposed in which, according to the invention, the adjustable running wheels can be brought from the raised position to the lowered position by the lifting mechanism.

   The adjustable running wheels are advantageously attached to the lifting mechanism.

   In another useful embodiment of the lifting jack, the adjustable running wheels are mounted in a support flow of the lifting jack so that they can be adjusted in height and protrude with guide claws or the like into the path of brackets or the like provided on the hoist unit, which in the lowest position of the hoist unit on the guide claws or the like . Like. Are supported.

   Further details of the invention will be explained with reference to the drawings, in which embodiments of chassis of the lifting jack according to the invention are shown. 1 shows a jack during the lifting process, FIG. 2 shows the floor plan of the jack, FIG. 3 shows the position of the unloaded jack when it is being moved, and FIGS. 4 and 5 show embodiments of the arrangement of the running wheels.
 EMI1.1
    --4-- carried - 8-- into which the spindle --6-- is screwed. The lower end of the lifting mechanism carries a running wheel -l- on both sides and is provided with a cantilevered part -10- which is preferably designed as a fork for placing pneumatic wheels -11- of road vehicles.

   In this area, the support foot --4 -, as can be seen from FIG. 2, is also fork-shaped, so that it encompasses the part 10 - in its lowest position.

   The rotation of the spindle --6-- in one direction or the other takes care of an at the column base --4-
 EMI1.2
 Fork legs of the support foot-4 - one support plate --5-- each, while the end of the support foot facing away from the fork-shaped end carries a preferably steerable, non-height-adjustable impeller --12-- on both sides. A handle or bracket --15 - is used to move the jack on the floor.

   The lifting jack described is operated in the following way: When the jack is loaded (Fig. 1), the running wheels - 1 and 12 - are lifted from the hallway and the support structure - 3 - sits on the support plates arranged on the support foot --4-- --5-- in the hallway. Before reaching the lowest position of the lifting element --2-- shown in Fig. 3, the running wheels --1-- put on the floor, u. in such a way that the pneumatic wheels --11 - are safely set down on the floor beforehand and the jack is relieved and that only after the lifting gear has been lowered further by the height - h-the running wheels - l-touch the floor.

   There at

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 If the lifting spindle --6-- can no longer be lowered in the same direction of rotation, the support frame - 3 - will now be raised. Initially, the entire lifting jack tipping around the edge --5 '- of the rear support plates - 5 - occurs until the rear wheels --12-- touch the floor. When the lifting spindle continues to move, the jack then tilts further around the wheel 12 while the support plates --5-- are lifted off the floor at the same time, until the relative lowest position of the lifting element - compared to the support structure --3-- is reached and the further movement is triggered by limit switches switched off or limited by stops.

   The jack can now be moved freely.

   In a further embodiment, shown in FIG. 5, the running wheels - 1 - can be arranged vertically displaceably on the support feet - 4. The lifting of the support plates --5-- from the hallway and the tilting of the jack up to the position that enables a free movement, is done here by supporting brackets --13-- arranged on the lifting device --2-- on guide claws - 14-- the wheels --1--.
