Beim Unterbringen von Schriftstücken in Briefordnern ist es üblich, dass erstere vorher gelocht oder geheftet werden. Durch dieses Lochen werden, wenn die Schriftstücke bis zum Rande beschrieben sind, die gerade an der Lochstelle befindlichen Worte unleserlich ; ausserdem zeigt sich beim Einreihen derartiger Briefe in die Briefordner der Übelstand, dass die am Rand des Bogens in den einzelnen Zeilen stehenden Worte überhaupt nicht oder nicht ganz gelesen werden können, so dass der Brief dem Ordner jeweils erst entnommen werden muss.
Um diese Übelstände zu beseitigen, ist es bereits bekannt, durch Trennungstinien den Rand abzuteilen. Hiedurch kann jedoch nicht verhindert werden, dass stellenweise aus Unachtsamkeit über die Lochungslinie hinweggeschrieben wird. Gemäss der Erfindung wird daher am Rand,
