Description

Letterhead, postcards or the like with a divided edge.

When storing documents in letter folders, it is common for the former to be punched or stapled beforehand. With this punching, if the documents are written on to the edge, the words just at the punching point become illegible; In addition, when placing such letters in the letter folder, the inconvenience is that the words on the edge of the sheet in the individual lines cannot be read at all or not completely, so that the letter must first be removed from the folder.

In order to eliminate these inconveniences, it is already known to separate the edge by means of separation lines. This, however, cannot prevent inadvertent writing over the perforation line in places. According to the invention is therefore at the edge,

arranged on each side of the sheet of paper. This strip is kept so wide that the perforation comes to lie within. The strip can be made indescribable in any way, x. H. by printing, greasing, pressing, embossing. Roughening, smoothing, etc. like

In the drawing, for example, in Fig. 1 a letterhead is shown with a stripe a made by hatching, in Fig. 3 a postcard with a stripe a made of black color.
