The invention relates to a device for ejecting molded bodies from a mold, with ejectors movable in the ejection direction. The production of molds for moldings with undercuts in the ejection direction has been extremely difficult up to now and often led to the fact that even simple moldings, if they were to be provided with undercuts, were not produced because the mold costs would have been too high.
To remedy this disadvantage is the aim of the invention, which is located in the fact that for ejecting moldings which have re-entrant edges, corners, steps or the like with respect to the ejection direction, the ejector has an end face inclined against the ejection direction, at least in the area of the Formation of the re-entrant step in the mold has indentation provided so that when the ejector moves in the ejection direction, the molded body in the area of its re-entrant step or the like moves elastically transversely to the indentation of the mold and the engagement of the molded body in the indentation of the mold is released becomes.
The design of the ejection device according to the invention makes it possible, without using complicated shapes, to manufacture bodies which have re-entrant edges, corners, steps or the like with respect to the ejection direction. The molded bodies are preferably made of plastic in an injection molding process, but other materials can also be used which can be processed by the injection molding process.
In a further development of the invention, the step protruding towards the center of the shell is arranged in the area of its free end to remove shell-shaped bodies with an outer jacket flanged against the bottom, the ejector is designed as a ring with a conical face, which forms the mold cavity provided for forming the step closes at the bottom.
In order to actuate the ejector designed as a ring, several bolts resting on a common plate movable in the ejection direction can be provided, which engage the bottom surface of the ejector that faces away from the conical end face and runs essentially perpendicular to the ejection direction.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment which is shown in the drawing in axial section.
EMI1.1
z. B .-- 3-- are fixed. In the axis of the inner ring --1b-- lies the injection opening - 4--, which is formed in a separate mouthpiece --5-- inserted into the inner ring --1b--. The mold cavity is formed between the upper mold part, which is here in two parts, and a lower mold part 6. The lower part of the mold -6-- is supported on the face of a spacer ring --7-- and is shared with it, e.g. B. by means of screws - 8 - on the lower mold support plate - 9 - fixed.
EMI1.2
--10-- with molded body --10-- rising inner wall (14) is directed.
In order to be able to remove the molded body --10-- from the mold after casting, it is necessary to first move the outer jacket --12-- with the step --13-- located on it, radially outwards in order to engage the Step --13- with the indentation - 15 - of the lower part of the mold - 6 - to be solved. For this purpose, an ejector --16 - in the form of a ring is mounted in the lower part of the mold - 6 - so that it can be moved in the ejection direction. The ejector 16 has a conical end face 17 which rests against the free end of the outer jacket 12 of the shell-shaped molded body 10.
EMI1.3
can be done mechanically, but also by compressed air.
A further ejector pin - 21 - engages on the plate - 18 - and has a mushroom-like widened head - 22 - which rests on the outside of the bottom of the bowl-shaped body - 10 -. After releasing the step - 13 - of the shell-like molded body --10- from the mold, moving the ejector - 16 - in the ejection direction, the shell-like body is further ejected
EMI1.4
It goes without saying that the movement of the ejector - 16 - should only be initiated after the upper part of the mold, consisting of the two concentric rings --1a and 1b, has been removed from the lower part of the mold - 6.
