   Wenn man das Nest für   Znchthühner   benutzen will, so ist das Durchgehen der Hühner durch das Nest nicht notwendig ; man kann dann mittels der drehbaren Stange 11 das Nest in der aus Fig. 3 ersichtlichen Stellung feststellen, indem man den belasteten Teil der Tür hebt und diesen dauernd durch die Stange 11 stützt. Man kann auch das Nest nur dadurch einmal zugängig machen, dass man die Stange   11   in die punktierte Stellung der Fig. 2 bringt, wobei sie sich gegen den Zapfen   12   der Tür 3 legt. Schwingt dann die Tür 3 in die Stellung der Fig. 3, so wird der Zapfen 12 schliesslich von selbst in den Einschnitt der Stange 11 einfallen, so dass das Nest dann selbsttätig in dieser Stellung fixiert wird.

   If the nest is to be used for breeding chickens, it is not necessary for the chickens to pass through the nest; the nest can then be determined in the position shown in FIG. 3 by means of the rotatable rod 11 by lifting the loaded part of the door and continuously supporting it with the rod 11. The nest can also only be made accessible once by bringing the rod 11 into the dotted position of FIG. 2, whereby it lies against the pin 12 of the door 3. If the door 3 then swings into the position of FIG. 3, the pin 12 will finally fall automatically into the incision in the rod 11, so that the nest is then automatically fixed in this position.

PATENT CLAIMS:. 1. Longest nest for chickens, characterized in that the nest is suspended eccentrically on a flap door which alternately closes the two nest openings, one part of which is loaded to balance the nest, so that when a chicken enters, the nest sinks and the entry opening through the other Part of the flap door is closed.

Laying nest for chickens according to Claim 1, characterized in that a toothed rod (8) is attached to the underside of the nest, the teeth of which engage the edge of a slotted disc (9) when the chicken leaps onto the edge of the nest this is eccentrically loaded for the purpose of preventing the flap from immediately descending at the point of entry.
