  Cover for metal saber scabbards.

The object of the present invention relates to a coating for metal saber scabbards for the purpose of completely eliminating the detrimental flashes of the same in the field, such that a covering of ebonite, celluloid or similar material is pressed onto the suitably prepared scabbards, with arabesques, initials Emblems etc. can be embossed with. If necessary, the coating is pressed onto the scabbards with the relevant cover material being heated accordingly.

A good, permanent adhesion of the coating produced in this way to the metal separator

The sheaths made with such a cover indicate the

unchangeable cover, protect the scabbards from rust and have a pleasing shape that does not deviate from the scabbard, without noticeably increasing its size. The color of the coating can be adapted as required to suit any occasion.

Due to the great elasticity of the material used, mechanical influences cannot cause the coating to chip or flake off, as is the case with paint or

A major advantage, however, is that saber scabbards in use can also be provided with such a cover.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Coating for metal saber scabbards, characterized in that the same consists of a thin layer of ebonite, celluloid or similar substances, which is pressed onto the scabbard with appropriate heating if necessary.
