  Rinnensprosse für Glasdächer und-wände.
 EMI1.1

Gutter rung for glass roofs and walls.
 EMI1.1

The invention consists in that the longitudinal edges of the gutter rung, which is expediently made of sheet metal, are bent inward in the manner of a bead and the bridge-like cross members mounted in the rung are provided with hook-shaped projections which engage in the bent rungs edges. As a result, double stiffening of the inner rung is achieved, u. between the bent-over beads in the longitudinal direction and the transverse support, which engages like a hook with the beads. As a result of this double stiffening, the gutter rung can be made with considerably weaker wall thicknesses than was previously the case with similar constructions, and it has increased strength.

Furthermore, the position of the bridge-like crossbeams in the channel is secured by the hook-shaped approaches without any particular i! fasteners are grooved.

 carrier in a diagrammatic view.

The gutter rung, which can otherwise have any cross-sectional shape, is bent inward at the upper edges of the side walls a in such a way that longitudinal bulges b arise which are not completely closed at the bottom by the longitudinal edges
 EMI1.3
Bridge-like cross members e mounted in the grooves, which carry the fastening screws d of the retaining strips f and g clamping the glass plates e, as well as these strips and thus the glass plates themselves, are laterally hook-like. en h (Fig. 3) provided. which are adapted to the cross-sectional shape of the beads b, so that they / .. l! can be brought into engagement with the beads b by being pushed in from the front side of the rung.

Through this hook-like engagement between the beads b and the
 EMI1.4
rung and the cross member c causes.
