Die Wirkungsweise des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist folgende :
Von der Druckluftleitung, 1 pflanzt sich der Luftdruck durch die Öffnungen 2 in die Trocken- kammern fort, so dass in denselben angenähert derselbe Druck wie in der Druckluftleitung. 3 herrscht. Durch diesen C oerdruck wird die in dem Trockengut vorhandene Feuchtigkeit gehindert, nach aussen, d. h. in den Trockenraum hinein zu verdunsten.
Eine Bildung von Wasserdünsten ist vielmehr nur nach dem Innenraum der perforierten Zylinder 11 möglich, welcher, wie gezeigt wurde, mit der Vakuumleitung 10 in Verbindung steht, so dass die nach innen zu entweichenden Wasserdünste durch letztere abgesaugt werden und demnach der Feuchtigkeitsgehalt in der Trockenkammer nicht erhöht wird, wodurch der Trockenprozess wesentlich beschleunigt wird.
Statt der Trockenkammer 1 kann auch ein mit Mauern umgebener, nach aussen ebenfalls abgeschlossener Raum in Form einer Trockenstube Verwendung finden. Hiedurch wird an dem Wesen der vorliegenden Erfindung ebensowenig geändert, wie durch die Anzahl der Trockenkammern, welche mit einer gemeinschaftlichen Druckluftleitung und einer gemeinschaftlichen Vakuumleitung in Verbindung gesetzt sind.
