Chamber 0 branches off the connector P.
The wings G move in the housing, u. between a plane perpendicular to the axis in a space that is limited on the one hand by the conical surface ab, cd (Fig. 1) and on the other hand by the larger base of the drum H, which is around the hemisphere F in a 790 against the shaft inclined position rotates. As a result of this inclination of the drum, the blades are forced to penetrate one after the other into the interior of the drum.
From Fig. 1 it can be seen that as a result of this inclination of the drum, the space between the larger base of the drum and the conical surface ab, cd varies in the course of one revolution in such a way that it varies from zero to a maximum which occurs at half a revolution , grows and then decreases again. If this space has become zero, the larger base of the drum rests entirely on the housing body, n. Zw. On a surface that is delimited by e-i and g-h (Fig. 4).
As soon as one of the wings has passed the first row of openings N, it sucks in liquid behind it. After the last row of these inlet openings has been passed, the liquid sucked in by the preceding wing under the same circumstances is pressurized until the last of the openings N 'has been passed. This results in an uninterrupted and even suction and pressure, whereby the suctioned volume in each
Moments are the same as those pushed out.
If there is pressure in the housing, it is applied to the small base area of the drum and, as already mentioned, secures. the tight fit of the larger base of the drum on the running surface of the housing A and on the hemisphere F and consequently also the tight fit of the
Wing on the housing body A. To avoid excessive growth of this support pressure, the one
Braking in the wake would have to be avoided, the pressure surface is in a known manner by the
Ring K limited, which is sealed by the packing Q.
