   Die starke Krümmung der Aufsatzstange lässt die Auftragung gut lesbarer Einteilungen auf der Stange selbst nicht zu, bedingt daher die Anordnung der mit ihr   zwangläufig   verbundenen Trommel J, an deren Erhöhungseinteilungen i1 beim Einstellen des Aufsatzes die Erhöhung mit Hilfe des Zeigers K abgelesen werden kann.

It has also been made possible to place the center of curvature of the attachment rod with respect to the axis of the horizontal trunnion so that the line of sight has a normal height with every elevation of the gun barrel.



   The strong curvature of the attachment rod does not allow the application of easily legible graduations on the rod itself, therefore the arrangement of the drum J, which is inevitably connected to it, and on whose elevation divisions i1 the elevation can be read with the aid of the pointer K when the attachment is adjusted.

Claims

There is no need to explain how the gun described is aimed. The advantages offered by the described attachment arrangement are as follows: The line of sight has, as already mentioned, almost one and the same with all elevations of the gun barrel, u. between a normal altitude, so that each setting of the attachment can be easily aimed.

Furthermore, the described arrangement of the attachment enables the handwheel of the leveling machine and, if a side straightening machine is present, also its handwheel in the immediate vicinity of the attachment, i.e. H. can be installed in a convenient position for their operation by the supervisor, namely in the space behind the backplate PATENT CLAIM:

Attachment for guns with horizontal trunnions located near the gun barrel base, characterized in that the attachment rod (H), the higher side of which faces the gun barrel muzzle, is so strongly curved that the attachment is completely above the horizontal trunnion (b1 ) and still the line of sight can have a normal altitude each time the gun barrel is raised.
