Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Maschine zum Trockenpressen des aus der Gerbung kommenden Leders, bei der das Leder vor dem Durchgange durch zwei mit einem geeigneten Belag versehene Presswalzen von einer Ausreckwalze glatt gelegt wird.
Der Erfindung gemäss sind die eine Presswalze und die Ausreckwalze in der Weise angeordnet, dass beide Walzen gleichzeitig in die Arbeitsstellung gelangen, wobei noch die Ausreckwalze gegen ein besonderes Widerlager arbeitet.
Die Maschine ist auf der umstehenden Zeichnung schernatisch dargestellt.
Eine Presswalze n und die unter ihr befindliche Ausreckwalze f, deren schraubenförmig angeordnete Messer zweckmässig aus Bronze hergestellt sind, bewegen sich, in einem Schlitten gelagert, horizontal hin und her, während die andere Presswalze und ein Kissen d, gegen das die Ausreckwalze arbeitet, feststehend angeordnet sind.
