Abrasion cams for explosion engines with vertical camshaft.

The invention relates to a tear-off cam for explosion engines with a vertical camshaft and has the purpose of providing a secure, easily attachable bearing and automatic lubrication of the tear-off cam.

For this purpose, according to the invention, the upper end face of the tear-off cam wedged on the upper shaft end is provided with a central recess intended to accommodate running balls, from which lubrication channels extend to the circumferential surface of the cam, while the recess enters a fixed extension , for example of the valve cover bracket or cylinder, screwed bearing journal protrudes, which completes the ball bearing.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the inductive object in Fig. 1 in a side view and partial section, in Fig. 2 in an end view and in Fig. J in a top view.

The tear-off cam 1, which is keyed on the upper end of the vertical shaft 6, the lower end of which rests in a foot or support bearing, has a central, cylindrical recess or bore 1 on its upper end face in which the running balls rest and in which a bearing pin 3 engages which completes the ball bearing and is screwed into an extension 2 of the bracket of the valve cover I). The latter carry the tear-off levers 7, which can swing about bolts 4 and are always pressed against the circumferential surface of the tear-off cam 1 by springs 8. Lubricating channels open out on the circumferential surface. lp 10, which start from the bore l 'which is filled with lubricant.

Since only screwing in the bearing pin 3 is required to secure the storage of the tear-off cam 1, the assembly is extremely simple, while the lubrication channels 10 under the action of centrifugal force an automatic lubrication of the
