Claims (1)

<Desc/Clms Page number 2> <Desc / Clms Page number 2> 2. 2. Mechanical method for opening up the peat fiber for the purpose of processing it into paper and cardboard according to claim 1, characterized in that the sliced peat is subjected to the known washing and opening up processes in the order that the same is broken down into the individual fibers with the help of water dissolved, then freed from the coarser foreign parts and afterwards cleaned from the finer impurities and earthy parts, whereupon the intermediate product obtained is processed by defibering into semi-finished products, which after previous sorting with pulp from paper waste, with cellulose or the like to the finished paper stock is mixed.
