Der Eintritt des Brennstoffes kann senkrecht, parallel oder schräg zum Luftstrom oder in jeder anderen Weise stattfinden. Die Anordnung kann auch so getroffen sein, dass der Brennstoffstrom zentral und der Luftstrom seitlich eintritt ; in diesem Falle würde c zur Brennstoffzuleitung dienen und der Raum f den Kolben 9 enthalten.
