so that ea is partly hit again by the striking arms 7, but partly also falls out of the mixing device immediately through the spokes 8 below. As a result of this design of the device, through which the material is thrown off several times in different directions, an intimate mixture must naturally be achieved. Above or below the striking plate 12, special clubs of any suitable shape can be provided. As a result of the use of the Tronunel rotating in the housing 1, the device is particularly suitable for the production of concrete mixes, both for powdery
EMI2.1
As a result of the peculiar effect of the upper mixing device, the material to be mixed falls evenly onto the cone-shaped diffuser plate 13, which is arranged on the axis 5 in the lower part and which is also provided with beater bars 14, which roughly correspond in shape to the beater bars of drum 9. The housing 1 is widened and lengthened towards the bottom, so that the mixed material falling from the drum 9 reaches the conical sheet metal 13 and has to be thrown around by the blow bars 14 in the widened space 15.
Such a mixing device can be used both in the configuration described so far for dry mixing alone or, as can be seen from FIG. 1, in conjunction with a moistening device. In the latter case, one or more perforated water pipes 16 or nozzles are arranged in the space 15 and within the housing 1, which constantly spray water into the space 15 in fine jets. As a result of the even distribution that the material experiences in the mixing device, it must also fall evenly onto the deflector plate 13 and be thrown evenly in all directions by the blow bars 14, so that the entire material must be evenly moistened by the water jets.
The material, which has ripe and moistened in this way, falls. below at 17 out of the mixing device.
